Stockings in bed (little pressies including chocs).
Everyone up and dressed. (it's too cold in our house to wander around in your jimjams).
Croissants or posh porridge for breakfast (it has whiskey and cream).
Lunch this year is a Yorkshire pot (4 birds one inside the other - no bones) with all the usual xmas trimmings including Vills's famous heart-attack gravy.
Treats and chocs throughout the day.
Xmas is relaxed and comfortable at our house. The idea of going somewhere to have a row, or having people over I don't get on with is ridiculous to me.
Oh, and the diet starts when the food runs out.
This year is a bit different to our usual Christmas as we are far away from family. Up until now I have done the traditional full on xmas meal from Turkey to jelled veggies. Came rain or stomach bug a full Christmas meal has always left my kitchen, but no more lol.
So bacon butties for breakfast no doubt at a god forsaken hour due to 3 year old.
Then since we kind of had xmas meal at Thanksgiving and it took so long to make but yet 10 mins for son to pick through and say not hungry. We are having homemade organic lasagne and homemade garlic bread.
No pudding, mores the pity so instead we are having panettone. No doubt with lots of hot drinks and few glasses of wine to keep us toasty while its -25 outside.
No doubt hubby will eat all his chocolate from Santa in one go and make himself sick of it lol.
What about you Bonedigger?

OK morning will be pineapple or mangos onthe beach, followed by roast chicken and veg, Christmas pudding with ice cream, then off to chill in the bars later.
Have a wonderful time xx
Having pulled ourselves apart a lite breakfast...and opened anything I can get my hands on, tossing paper all over the floor
Depending on shifts, we start making dinner for sometime in the afternoon. We make it together. Four courses at least, wine with each one, coffee and brandy. Sometimes we manage to finish in three hours, not including the cooking!
...but one year we had beans on toast. We both had a bug, and it was all we could manage to make, or eat.
