I have just had a great sunday dinner (thanks Jackie) roast Beef Yorkshire pudding etc
I was curious if this is still a normal british tradition or is it slowly disapearing
Lots of my mates do not bother with it and only have a traditonal sunday dinner when eating out or visiting us
Also does anybody still make there own yorkshire pudding (we do) now aunt bessies make ready made ones

Actually I just made a sunday dinner today and it was gorgeous.....haven't made one for a while. Don't tend to in the summer months, only do them when the cold weather comes in. We certainly enjoyed it though.....

MMmm we had proper freshly made ones
We pretty much have a Sunday roast every Sunday  And we always sit down every evening as a family to eat, which is another thing that seems to be dissappearing!
we had roast beef and Yorkshire puddings to but i have to smother my meet in horseradish sauce mmmmmmm
Talk about coincidences!
I was just about to update my blog with yesterday’s antics and saw this.
I had a fab day yesterday – the type that Sunday’s were made for.
Stuck the roast beef on, roast potatoes, etc etc – then down the pub for a few jars.
Got back, finished off the home made yorkshire’s, popped the veg on and served up for 8 friends. (popped the home made bit in for Dawnie)
Cleared the plates away and supped wine with excellent conversation thrown in.
Ahh heaven – you just can’t beat a traditional British Sunday.
Pub followed by Sunday Roast
Always have a Sunday Roast without fail. tradition in my house.
