"There is no greater argument for abortion, than anti-abortionists"
- Mark Thomas, political comedian
Too much been read into this already. The thread was not about being anti abortion pro abortion or. It was about considering who you are and therefore thinking before you speak. Also if you watched it live the way in which she said it to me at least it sounded like she had used the service for lack of a better word. Sounded very much like she whored it around using abortion when needed.
Whips, whilst abortion exists it will always be used as a form of contraception. As this has veered onto the pro anti abortion debate I will say my views then leave it as that. It would be pointless to debate them as my views on this will never change. If you dont want a baby, shut your legs plain and simple. If you dont like someone you can just walk out on the street and shoot them in the head its not allowed. I view abortion in exactly the same way. In my mind life once conceived is life and each one as valuable as next regardless of if it has been born or not. If you dont want a baby, give it to someone else people will que up to take it from you. To do that you have to go through 9 months of pregnancy :violin: same as before shut your legs.
Abortion is the most disgusting thing that we legally do as a society. One last thing to say cus its one that really gets my goat if people suggest it  No my anti abortion stance has nothing to with having used IVF ICSI or fertility treatment to have my own children. I have been anti abortion ever since I first heard about it for as long as I can ever remember.
Ive had to type this fairly quickly (taps watch) so its not the best or most sensitively put down I could do but it is a fair reflection of my feelings. As I say feel free to dissect it make points blah blah I wont be replying on this issue any more Ive done the debate on this many times before and never changed one Iota of how I think about it. I will still reply to points about the remarks made by Heidi Fleiss.
If abortion didn't work, I can think of quite a few where strangulation at birth would have been a suitable option..
I'm an anti-abortionist as Tweeky is for the most part and have always been so although as a man I feel I have little legitimate say in the act however much one could profess to be part of the whole process and until I've walked a mile in a womans shoes, not literally but metaphorically, I believe all I have the right to do is disagree with it if asked my opinion. Its one debate that I feel ill equiped to take part in.
I personally think its upto the individual concerned........remember each have their own reasons, as it is said..........'dont judge a book by it's cover' - every case is different.
I apologise if this offends anybody,.......... nope i have never nor would i want too, but i cant see into the future so who is to say that you or i would or wouldnt do it if it was necessary. I'm catholic and in all fairness i can see where the catholic church is coming from, but i also believe that it is upto the individual or indivduals concerned and therefore it should be their choice.
I think no matter who we are we can offend people everyday with our thoughts and words, you dont have to be an ex-madame to do that and if you`re really looking for people who should put their brains into gear first have you ever heard of politicians? prime ministers? presidents of the united states? George Bush maybe? Prince Philip? shall I go on??
Fleiss is only known to us through sensational media, so would her opinion really count to any of us? the people I listed are supposed to be held in high regard and respected yet they faux pas all the time.
Personlly I don`t hold any views on abortion as everycase should be taken for what it is but I can honestly say that I would be mortified if I found I was pregnant and not in a situation to have another child or for that matter want to be having another child, this probably offends too but it is MY opinion and I like to make my own rules.
If she is so set against having kids and would consider an abortion if she got pregnant then why doesnt she just get sterilizated.
Thank God for the right to offend people........treasure it you may not have it much longer
Oh and abortion is for the individual concerned to decide no-one else....no-one has the right to impose any kind of quasi religious bull on anyone else
i am anti abortion
always have been, always will be
i am so anti abortion that i have campaigned against it
i feel that life is created at the point of conception and should be protected from that moment
i am a woman i have had 2 live babies and one miscarriage so i do know about being pregnant etc
one of those pregnancies was unplanned, i was using contraception plus it was less than 8 weeks after having another baby and hadnt yet had a period, and i had no money, no help, wasnt housed in a decent place and was terrified of having another baby so soon after another but i never for a minute even thought about having an abortion
i was anti abortion long before i had my own children
when in doubt, cut it out.
(I refer to the church)

This is something that I have thought about many times, not having an abortion myself lol, but the actual concept of scraping a live human fetus out of the womb. I have long concluded that abortion should be legal, but regulated. I didn't reach this conclusion lightly as I'm not a great believer in regulations or means testing.
BUT
Why should a perfectly healthy fetus that is very likely to go full term and become another precious life, be removed before he /she ever had the chance to take a breath just because the mother doesn't want it?
People are binning babies for convenience or even cosmetic reasons. Those people who have no real reason not to go full term, should be made to have their babies and give them up for adoption. Perhaps the inconvenience of being pregnant for nine months, plus the heartache of having to bring a new life into the world then be forced to give it up, might make them take the subject of contraception a little more seriously in the future.
ON THE OTHER HAND
If a young girl is pregnant because of some , or a woman because she has been . If there is proof that the baby will be born with some awful disease or horendous mental or physical disability, then surely one should understand why they should be allowed a termination.
ITZ NEVER THAT SIMPLE IS IT?
All cases should be looked at by doctors and midwives, and judged on an individual basis.
