the 5 minute wait
Well I did get in, trouble was the phone rang, so I'm talking on the phone and kind of watching the thread and the peeps and then a mod person Steve-mids says, Right I'm closing this room now find somewhere else, (or words to that effect), and I got kicked back into the half-tone world and another effing 5 minute wonder.
It's hard enough to get in in the first place without being kicked.

all adverts on the photo ads section have a "cht to this memner" button...try that....
(im only trying to help as im sick off all the broken chatroom threads! )

after totalling giving up after my last 35 minute bout of desperately trying to get in with no success , thought i' d leave it a while and try again, just have and hey presto, the lovely blank screeen of server one.....
Was about to have a paddy, when i thought hey do I have a problem here lol i wonder what else i can do! I'll read my thread and see who replied, and aaahhhh all me chat room buddies feeling the same as me awwwwww what are we like!
there must be more to life than this, lets all find a huge bed, turn off the lights and have some fun!

well what can we say about the 5 min wait, em its not 5 mins any more after trying now for several hours and still not luck, we are thinking what are sh doing about it. dosent seem to be a lot does it. thought the idea of haveing 3 servers was relieve the probs there was before with only 1 server, but infact its now worse, anyway what should we do with the time that we have to wait to get in, only seems to be one thing search for another site without all these probs
I'm not sure how this thread has survived, Mals reasoning for locking all the others is that they are in the wrong place. On the other hand, putting them all in the same place lessens the effect. After all none of us are writing the comments for the good of our health, we'd like someone to pay attention and give us some answers.
I suppose though, on reflection, all the locked threads actually raise the awareness and make it stand out the more, so I think I'll shut up. It's amazing how writing can clear the brain.

It's been said recently that the current software for chat is old and not meant for so many users and thus is unsupported by the writers. SH are working on a new software and with luck should be very good and better than the current on.
These thing can take some time to test so i'm patiently waiting and sure it will get sorted.

while waiting for the chatroom server to get its fingers out its ass, you could....possibly...spend those 5 minutes over here on the forum, contributing to threads and maybe even starting your own, about anything but the sodding chatroom being down again!
ok ok so I'm getting carried away,but, making the best of what you've got and joining in some of the bantery/ positive threads cant be a bad thing, surely? unless someone re-titles this 'the 'lets go over to the forum and moan about the chatroom thread' :idea:
