It's a funny thing that, there are so many people on here that I consider as the regulars, the core people on the site. One of them posted me last night and said that it was good to meet me 'the (very flattering word indeed) marms at last'. Now, that took me a little by surprise as the guy in question was one of the guys that I consider to be a core member, and in comparison I consider myself a bit of a noob! It looks like he felt similar things about me.
So in answer, I don't think there is a point when you wake up and suddenly you have gone from noob to regular, just be and add a little to the community that is SH, everyone has something good to contribute.

but ............................Marmalaid you really do post some very sensible stuff!! However I get the impression that sensible and Marmalaid are not words that often appear in the same sentence?

really though... you seem to have done it right, sit back and watch, learn the do's and don'ts and then just basically join in as if you've always been there...
If you are struggling with the room speed, you may find it better to come in at a quieter time of the day, around 11pm to midnight it starts slowing down, and after midnight it gets proper mellow, afetr 6am and before 8am the chat junkies stumble in for a quick fix, but it is generally quieter then too...
Have fun.... and NEVER PVT without asking... you'll find that out quick enough though!

I am an avid user of the chatroom so here is some advice.
Start chatting to just a few people regularly.
Join in with the chat but concentrate on just a few peoples names.
Always be polite and say hi on entering.
Don't sound too desperate and get annoyed if people don't speak to you.
Understand that a lot of people take the attitude that Swinging is not just a quick shag and it often offends people by thinking that way.
Patience nearly always pays off even for single males.
I know a lot of single males that have a great time swinging and who are great mates.
Enjoy yourself and get your nickname known.
If you are unsure about things ask in the room.
1 final tip is ENSURE YOU HAVE READ ALL THE RULES.
The chatroom is a fab place and you soon get used to the speed of it.

I am an avid user of the chatroom i will try and say hi to everyone.....the emphisis on try.
i will agree with what funin sasy i am a single guy nut everyone still chats to me in the chatroom.....
i will say that i have made some loverly friends through the chatroom, i wont say has it paid of or not. What I will say is that i must admit i have had some good fun with the friends i have made
