The I Love The Police thread!

I caught 2 kids trying to nick my scoot tonight mad

and you can imagine I wasn't going to let the little scrotes get away with it so I dialled 999.
I caught them at , Police arrived at , they went off in the Hurry Up wagon and returned in less than 30 minutes with the little bastards locked in the back of said Hurry Up wagon.
The little shits are now in custody charged with attempted robbery and I've made a statement and agreed to give evidence in court biggrin

especially in light of the fact that one of them was found to have a knife on him :shock:
The officers were fab, very helpful and even thanked ME for my help. My faith has been restored big time :thumbup:

No they won't. They'd been reported by at least 3 other people as being up to no good plus they even admitted to me that they were there ( not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer it has to be said rolleyes

I doubt they'll get anything more than a slap on the wrist as it was only attempted and not actual but it's a great feeling to stick your fingers up to them and let them know you're no pushover

At times I have very little respect for the Police...
Lest be honest ..................How many drivers have you seen with their mobile phones in their hands ???

If you can spot em then so can the Police....

I regularly see the same vehicles on my travels using their mobiles whilst driving......

I'm glad they were caught and you did your bit for society but like has been said they'll probably only get a slap on the wrist, and rather than bring politics into things and start blaming the goverment etc, im old enough and wise enough to know that whatever the goverment does they'll always get blamed, its about time the criminals themselves take the blame rather than people blaming the goverment, parents should be blamed before the goverment, perhaps everyone would be happy if they closed a few hospitals and schools so they could build more prisons to put these scum in.. i think not.. the problem with overcrowding in prisons has nothing to do with the goverment its the criminals who overcrowd them. bring back the birch and the death penalty :shock:

I know what you meant though. My first post was more about the fact that the police actually DID catch them rather than whether these morons will get anything more than a slapped arse.
The police do get a fair amount of bad press and I just wanted to highlight that fact that they DO sometimes get it right despite the putcome of any ensuing court cases.

its annoying, i agree, tonight i had my window stoned, done it that hard the glass is in bits, hanging in the frame, arrrrr mad

rang the poilce wouldnt come out just said ring with crime number so the owner can get it fixed on insurance, rolleyes

, makes you mad, one hand some are there and others they just dont bother, but good on you for sticking upto them, i so hate school hoildays :twisted:

Dont think a lady I know of will be pleased to see this thread. Got mugged while in her car, car window smashed, she got a few cuts from the glass, they took her bag with her own money & cards.
She had to wait for 2 hours before the police came, nearest station 2 miles away, and she was rebuked by the operator for dialling 999 when she should have dialled the new number for a non-emergency incedent which is so memorable, I`ve forgotten it already!

Sassy have to say brill but could we borrow your police service there was the in ten minutes :shock: wow we are still waiting for them to turn up after two scrotes tried to steal tlfs thats was two weeks ago

And bumpkin have to agree with you here we caught two trying to nick my motorcycle and we phone 999 whilst there was in the back garden (hoping the police would turn up and chatch them) only to be told by the police call taker that its wasn't an emergency and we had to re ring the non emergency number :shock:

Looks like its got everything to do with having "bored kids with nothing to do" hanging around to me. Taken in the context of this thread and the whole post Cutepussy wrote,CP has a point in my opinion.

Bored kids and having little to do? So crimes such as this don't happen outside school holidays? At 1130pm, whether they are on school holiday or not is beside the point.
Out of interest Sassy, how old were they?

Most of the crime round here is down to the little scrotes who are of school age....
Admitedly most of them dont even bother going to school so the holiday period makes no difference in the crime rate...
