I'm gobsmacked..... again! :shock: twice in one week is simply not on! lol

I've just watched Heather Mills' interview after her court case today... she said

I have no idea whether she is either manipulative or greedy.I can't possibly judge her as a person, I don't know her.
If the facts and figures are correct then it would seem a little unfair that someone who is worth as much as he is is sentencing his daughter to a lifestyle that is secondary to his own. I can only hope that the judge knows what he is doing and has ensured that the daughter has been awarded enough to keep her in the manner to which she has become else her dad becomes this huge benevolent figure with wads of dough to spoil his daughter and Heather is left picking up the pieces after every visit.
But hey, it isn't my life and money really doesn't buy everything.

You're right. She stated
"the whole world has listened to him saying he only is worth £400 million when the whole world knows he's worth £800 million"
All you hear from her is figures, she's money orientated and only married him for the money. That was written on the wall.

A court ordered former Beatle Paul McCartney to pay his estranged wife Heather Mills 24.3 million pounds after an acrimonious divorce battle.
The settlement was only a fifth of the sum she had sought but she still ended up with the equivalent of about $34,000 (16,978 pounds) for each day of her four-year marriage to the pop icon.

Guess she can make the difference up with that!! Beats us how she gets all that cash when McCartney made most of it when she wasn't even with him!!

For someone as loaded as him I would normally say that yeh, it's a bit naff....
But, and correct me if I'm wrong, didn't he bring up his other kids on not a lot?? I'm sure I heard somewhere that if they wanted money, they had to work for it? dunno

Him and Linda seem to have managed to bring up the older kids rather well on that basis, so I would've thought he would like his youngest to be brought up on the same principles. Unfortunately his vile* ex probably won't let that happen and bring up her daughter to have little respect for the privileged position she's in....... after all, if she's already bleating on in public about how hard done by Bea is only having £35k a year, she's hardly gonna put on a 'that's plenty darling' face for her daughter confused

What the bluddy ell can a tot spend £35k on :? there's only so many sweets a kid can eat :? Or will her mother make her spend it on 'sensible' stuff like manicures and Prada? :? :? :?
But, by the same token, he's made his bed and now he's gotta lie in it :? I hope for him that he does have some sort of input to Beas life and she's not left to become a jumped up little madam like her mother :?
*I know I don't 'know' Heather, I don't read newspapers either (although have read bits and bobs over time), the only real judgement I've made of her was some reality telly program she done - although it was a good cause, it couldn't detract from a rather revolting character.

okay a couple of things.... and i am not going to stick of for what heather mills was trying to get for herself because i don't think she contributed to the marriage
first of all... the poor little girl is not her daughter... it is their daughter.... I assume that like us normal people it took two people to make the child....
what the award is suppose to do is keep their daughter accustomed to the life she has...... so on the outside 35k a year for person who is worth 800 mil does seem a tad cheap....
however..... since in the agreement he is paying for the nanny, he is paying for the security of the child, and he is paying for all of the potential school fees.... I assume that because the amount is for the child it will be actually be a tax free amount.......
so if she is saying that almost £3k a month isn't going to keep her accustomed to the life she has, especially since £2.5 mil of the agreement is for her to buy a house in london..... then i'd love to know what circles she goes around in.....

Those figures are actually from a summary of the judges statement which can be read

Well now she has got her heather mills now shut up..
was listening to her after she came out of court today..
And my god did she waffle on like a mad woman..
as for her complain about the fact that her daughter is getting £35:000 pounds a year,which is double what im am getting for the year and i work full time (and to be honest with you i dont think her daughter is gonna care what class she flys) ...
And she shouldnt be brought up to care what class she flies,but i have a feeling the lovely heather mills will bring her daughter up to follow in her £700 an hour marriage footsteps..
Oh yes not forgetting the houses she has as well,
why isnt she just happy with what she got and go away now and be quiet and bring up her daughter and do her charity work quietly....

I think people saw the real mrs. Mucca on GM TV. The women seems a very unpleasent person but MR. Mcartney was warned, even by his own Daughters. We have not heard the last of her but hope she naffs off to America likes she says.
Paul Mcartney thought he knew best, which as is turns out, on this occasion he did not. But as they say " no fool like an old fool " !!!! :lol:

How right you are Splendid on a few things, but disagree on a few other bits. yes, we don't know her at all.... BUT did you watch the GMTV interview... her main topic? money. Her main topic today? money. Why did she ditch her lawyers? money. What has she set out to gain? money.
She has attempted to manipulate at every opportunity. Yes I don't know the woman but anyone can see what she's doing.
On this occasion I ain't going to be sticking up for her.
On your closing bit you said "money isn't everything" to you and I maybe it isn't... but if she's complaining at ONLY £35,000 for her daughter's maintenance on top of the millions she has received.. in her A class travel world, money IS everything.

And NO child needs £35,000 PA to be happy, parental love alone will make that child happy not money. Money hasn't made my daughter love me any more or any less, cos we ain't got any!
Yes money helps, but it doesn't bring ultimate happiness. No money in the world will make that woman happy, I'm sorry but that's my feelings on the matter. I have little money but I have love and security, what does she have?

i agree completlly that macca should keep his child in the life she has been accustomed to and the 35 grand is justified in the respect that the man is minted rolleyes

however why did heather need a lump sum ??whats wrong with the good old dss for heather or working in tescos for a living like the rest of the decent hard working ppl of this country ??she said in her interview she would use the money to help charities well in my opion charity begins at home but the point is she isnt helping them paul is !!! confused

i can understand ppl getting annoyed as to why she should need 35 grand a year ,however the working man who has to pay for his child would pay 35% of his wages to a child that no longer lives with him so in realative terms of money its the same just paul earns more than most :roll:

but im on divorce number 3 :roll: but i have never accepted a penny for any of my kids or me im an independant woman and i walked away from my marriages so it was my choice not my exes
why should they have to pay for me ???ive always thought that parents that break up should get on for the sake of the kids and i would rather they saw there kids 3 times a week or as often as possible rather than give me £50 and never see them !!!
im a firm believer that u should leave a marriage if thats your choice with everything u came with and nothing more on either side unless u have put funds equally into the marriage ! :shock:
im just trying to work out what heather put in to it to walk away with that amount of money ????
