Apparently the most painful naturally derived pain that a human being can endure is reputedly renal colic.

Even after reading the thead and vowing to be extra careful.....
I still managed to walk into one of the bedposts on the bottom of the bed last night.
They are fecking huge, and typically just the right height for my lady bits - I soon fell to the floor not daring to get up for a while!!
lol

Well given its height and its girth I can only hope you fell against it and not onto it
Oh god no!!
Only walked into it, not onto it, eeeeeek the thought of that!!

Got to be sciatica. At it's worst was only managing 2 hours sleep at night but that involved having 4 paracetamol and an enormous G & T before bedtime. There just wasn't a position, sitting, laying or standing that eased the pain. I actually cried on more than one occasion as there was just no rest bite. A course of acupuncture cured it though......phew!
I'm sure it has been mentioned... but kidney stones... OUCH!
After I passed my one, the doctor said "well if you ever get shot, it won't be as painful"!
having a tyre explode at about 180mph.
Hitting the ground bum first after being thrown off, travelling over 800 meters on my back, chest and arms with the tarmac ripping my leathers to pieces.
stupidly put my hands down and lost skin off both palms and end of 8 fingers.
and once i stopped sliding i got up,then collapsed back down to the ground breaking the air deflector of my crash helmet.
dislocated right shoulder, elbow and right knee cap.
lost skin on right forearm, both lower palms of hands and tips of 8 fingers.
rest of leathers had melted to my bum and needed a lot of help to remove them.
The painful bit?
waking up and finding them trying to put my knee cap back and the horrible raw burning of my body.
it was like being on fire.
funny thing is the following week after my crash a kawasaki rider in a moto gp race had the same tyre failure at over 200 mph and he got away with it.
many years on i still have patches of where my skin should be lol

Ouch!
Before I took my bike test, we were made to listen to a chart of how much skin, muscle and bone would be lost when hitting the tar at various speeds......I wish every muppet on a moped in a T-shirt & shorts could read what you've just written!
kiss
i was wearing a made to measure full leathers with over 1.4 heat generated was so great it took about a week before the doctors could remove the burnt bits off my bum and that still pulled some skin away.
when i was laying on the track i was covered in smoke so the track staff said.
at them high speeds nothing will save i had hit anything my limbs would have been sliced right off.

Was going to post about the blisters on my fingers from gardening on Friday.. but after reading this... wow.
I can remember when I got knocked off my motorbike by a drunk driver, and ended up with a pneumothorax and cracked ribs.. I had full armoured winter gear on, so saved more injury, but frightened the life out of me.. Still doesn't compare to tyracer though... I have lots of respect for you!

getting up at 2 a.m. to go and get newborn babies bottle, half asleep and slipping on tops stair sliding down on your arse :fuckinghell: friction burns on your botty :upset: catching your little toe on the rim of the bannister bending it right back and breaking the said toe. then to add insult to injury going to the hospital 2 days later in agony and getting bollocked for not coming sooner so they could of put it in plaster, now only willing to bandage and splint it  give me childbirth anyday

It's midges. The pain may be slight but the sight of that ugly swelling and knowing that you've just got to drag your nails across that awful red bump just gets me so uptight! And then they bruise and look nasty, and then just when it's slightly reducing the bloody thing has brought all it's mates to gorge on the surrounding area..........
Ok, so childbirth has it. I'm just vain.
i have nothing against nurses.
Im used to being bathed and looked after so bring it on lol
edit**** female nurses
wave Hi everybody
The worst pain in the world has got to be a toss up between childbirth and Gall stones.
Snapping your achilles tendon comes in a close second though.

<Dusts off the ole Ann Summers number>
:evil2:
For immediate pain my top one is; being head butted by my very strong 2 year old on my cheek bones or right on the bridge of my nose.
Got a bruise and swelling on my cheek today to prove and wow overall the bruise tops a bad bad day lol.

Physically and emotionally?

Good point!
Physically I would have said childbirth but I'll let you know if that changes after I have my op next month :scared:
Emotionally, the worst pain is losing someone you love, not only when someone close dies but also having to watch the love of your life love someone else
