We've all heard them; that excuse, which usually comes at the eleventh hour, as to why he/she/they can't, or couldn't, make it to the arranged meet. Of course sometimes it's not possible, since the woman in the profile either doesn't exist, or she knows nothing of what her partner is up to.
Share with us, I'm sure there's a giggle to be had, or maybe even just a chance to let other genuine members know that they're not alone in this.
I've never really been terribly pro active when it comes to swinging meets, however there is one example which springs to mind:
A guy sounded really keen to meet me, said he'd drive over from Worthing, so arfur nour (ish). I kept getting phone calls (hadn't asked for them) updating me on progress, then asking directions from near the the pier. At this point he's less than 5 mins away, according to the info he's supplying, but it's a wet day, so taking it easy. 10 minutes later he sends a text to say "I've had to turn back, my windscreen wipers have packed up and I can't go any further." Innit ... well thank fuck wipers work fine when ya turn the car around.
Many years ago i met a guy a few times, he was fun and the meets were good he turned up on time etc, he was single too which i prefered.
One time he didn't turn up though and later i got a text messege saying he hadn't been able to meet cus his wife had had a baby that day !!!!!!

At least you'd be pretty certain he wouldn't have made that excuse up :rascal:
Ive had some good excuses thrown at me -
One broken leg
One couldn't find Brighton Pier rolleyes
Two flat tyres
One death in the family
and One suddenly remembered he was married and felt bad for his wife lol
Arranged to meet a guy who lived 20 miles away, the eleventh hour he texted to say his car broke down, we offered to pick him up or meet him near by, guess what?!?!? lol you guessed it, we were blocked.
Emergency dental treatment. Had that twice, by two different people.

Were these all the same guy and all the same meet? lol
I'd say at least they all got in touch even if only with crap excuses.....
It's the no-contact-no-shows that get our goat.
Especially when those concerned knew we had a hotel booked.
We had one guy who sent us a text at the eleventh hour on the day of the meet stating that his mother had just died,
We sent our condolences and arranged to meet up again in 3 weeks time.
On the day of the next planned meet he sent us a text again at the eleventh hour stating that his mother had just died that day !! He had obviously forgotten that he had already used that excuse once before !
:laughabove:

Only twice have I booked a hotel and had no shows. Now they have to book the hotel and I pay after. Worst excuse ever - I forgot it was my son's birthday !

Arranged a CFNM meet, exchanged pics and talked through the scenario and I was given her address. Googled the address and it was real, checked her “location”on the website and this tallied with the town so all looking good. However, when I turned up and rang the doorbell an old guy, who, lived alone, answered the door. Giving someone a fake address is class.....not lol.

Lucky for us we have not been stood up ...(yet )..lol.... we meet socially first ...and get the ladies to speak on the phone early doors ..works for us ..xx

well  nice lady ( So I thought ) gave me all the right vibes  and we clicked she being Sub so I could play Dom with her chatted about what I would do when i arrived so a 2 hour drive just under and she did not show in the local private rail station car park in norfolk .. well made contact a few days later some excuse  about being their But as I was a hour early and hung around for a extra hour Not True ,but being naive 6 months later she did same thing !! Oh well her loss and of course my time and petrol wasted so its not all men that blow out half the time its the girls !!!

We've had a couple of good excuses over the years but the best ones were.

" I seem to have developed a cold sore it wasn't there earlier when I spoke to you. " We had only spoke 2 hours before and were on the M56 on our way down when he sent the text and then never answered his phone again to us. He also blocked us.

"There must be 2 pubs with the same name as I was there I waited an hour for you"  Not many pubs called The Priory in York! Thankfully we were there for a wedding so no time wasted.

Had a couple of hotel no shows but they just never said anything, just as well we paid the bills those times or would have been high and dry.
