So we're going out for lunch and, according to my wife, I have not the first clue about how to dress. So she's in the bath and I select this blue shirt, just an ordinary blue shirt, and I have this powder blue sweater which I put on too. How can I go wrong?
I walk in the bathroom and she says, "You can't possibly go in that", and say why not, and she says, "Can't you tell the colours don't go together.
Now guys, help me here, I can see that some colours don't go together, and I can see that some shades of the same colour don't go together, but is there ANY shade of blue that doesn't go with another shade of blue?
I thank God I only have five pairs of shoes with a choice of wearing brown or black.
well Musketeer, i entirely take your point. but you're entirely wrong!
it's a well known fact that men can only actually see about 16 colours. for example dark blue and light blue we can manage! the thousand or so shades in between from a woman's perspective simply don't exist to us, so we often fall into the trap of calling say crimson , scarlet , cherry etc red. which is wrong. and stupid. and will get you into a shit load of trouble.
just something to bear in mind for future reference mate!
hope that helps.

Before you go out all you've got to do is tell her that her bum looks big in whatever she's wearing and she won't be thinking about what you've got on!!
