must dos while in THAT LONDON
STAGGY N ROSE
London Eye (waterloo) and stroll the Southbank
plus Tate Modern. (walk the wobbly bridge to St Pauls, it no longer wobbles) Riverboat trip?
Soho? (burger in Ed's Diner, Old Compton St.
Dont use the toilet in the Trocedero (picadilly), they cost a pound a pee.
shopping?
Covent garden and the back streets... quite interesting and varied.
The Royal Parks? (there might be some long grass)

Do the London Dungeon for some thrills smile Or go to Vinopolis to taste wine. Then relax at Rio's (it's got a garden if it is daytime where you can sunbathe). Go rowing at Regent's Park boating lake. Have drinks at the Tattershall Castle overlooking the London Eye. Ride in different cars on the London Eye and see if you can see under your woman's skirt... then say 'I do not believe it, that hot number up there is wearing no knickers!' and get everyone else to notice her. lol Take a picture next to the guard at Buckingham Palace - they never smile. Go knock on Gordon's door or at least be photographed in front of it.
Obviously we need photographic evidence that you've been here and done all that, eh?
Have a lovely weekend.
National History museum is fab- and I'm told the science museum next door is too.
Look out for the lesser spotted Rolp on your travels too!

The London Eye is a must....fab views from there
Avoid London Zoo....costs almost £18 per person to get in!
Wish I could remember where that fab book stall was though confused
There used to be the Hologram Centre in Covent Garden. Not sure if it's still there, bit old hat now but nice place to visit before checking out the Transport Museum around the corner.
Hyde Park is gorgeous and the perfect place for a picnic biggrin
How about cheap and fabulous felafel at Just Falafs in Covent Garden piazza and a stroll up the avenue to some feel-good matinee like Hairspray, Mamma Mia, etc!
Priscilla Queen of the Desert's fun. And Cage aux Folles is back.
Or open-air Much Ado About Nothing in Regent's Park?
Or if you do do Tate Modern, the restaurant at the top is fab with great views and the Globe is just next door for As You Like it.
Royal Academy Summer Exhibition is on of course ...
I'm in the mood for Chekhov so I'd go to Tom Stoppard's new Cherry Orchard - but no-one's taking meto London for the weekend. sad
Have fun whatever you decide to do. Send us a postcard!

We'll drown  !!
I'm thinking storms, not gushes ;)]
definitely the eye biggrin
and camden is great aswell... A few good bars there, and of course the market!!
could go to the dungeons.... or take a trip along the river .... :D
Do the Eye during the day, then a spot of lunch (perhaps a slice of pizza eaten on a blanket in Hyde Park) stroll along the Thames path and visit the Tate Modern (Nice Pub near there right on the banks)or eat at one of the pretty brasseries in any of the arcades along the path. After dark hit Ronnie Scots and then hang out and drunkenly watch the freaks around Leicester Square.
Go to Buckingham palace....check the Queen is in residence...plant large explosive device.....run
I think the Eye is being upgraded/maintained and may not be running. If you want to use it I'd check t'internet for the facts.
If the weather's nice - how about getting some gorgeous tit-bits (no not THOSE kind of tit-bits - food and a bottle of wine) from your typical London posh deli and have an impromptue picnic in St James's Park?

Walk the channel from Camden. You can forget you are in London. You can see part of the Zoo, without paying a penny, and the water is cooling.
Ooooh I almost forgot about the Tibetan Peace Garden which is strangely next to the Imperial War Museum....go figure
Well you could pay far too much for anything you want to eat, drink or visit. Go for a ride on the impossibly hot and crowded tube. get moaned at by the too busy to be polite people for not standing far enough to the right or left or wherever it is on the escallators. take a walk along the rubbish strewn pavements near the stinky streets by the dirty takeaways. sit in a traffic jam watching the money being emptied out of your wallet on a taxi meter (walking might be better).
Go find Random Plaything and give him a slap round the head for.... well for being Random Plaything and for cluttering up the forum with nonsense and oddness biggrin
So, do i get the job of marketing director for London Tourism then?

Just thought I'd ask - - what's the 'THAT London' reference about? I assumed it was a typo.

in 'two pints of larger and a packet of crisps,,' BBC1 series and apart from late night in bed movies just about the only TV we watch London is always referred to as ' 'that' London'
here, it's: This London.
did you enjoy?

we had a blast, needed it to after all the crap we have had with BT..we did the usual stuff round the city and shops then a few drinks in the hotel in the evening and windsor and the races the following day. not really into the sport of kings but it was quite a spectacle none the less. i know its not exactly That London is it, Windsor, but it is to us northerners, was disappointed we didnt run into Philip or Queenie in the Windsor farm shop .. STILL YA CANT HAVE EVERYTHING CAN YOU..
