I for one dont have a problem what lane people use, as I use a motorcycle, but what really infuriates mad

me isn't car drivers going slow, its not that they hog up the whole lane, its not even that they open their doors in a traffic jam to have a look at what's happening up ahead while preventing us to passing in between cars.. :x
The thing that really pss's me off the most is motorists (mainly car drivers) of either sex... That look straight at us but dont see us !! :shock:
Any biker here will surely agree that bikes are more dangerous than cars and bike accidents tend to be more severe, but car drivers are ultimately the biggest cause of accidents and hazards to any motorcyclist. Please people dont just look but take the time to see...
The Japanese have excellent word for this Zanshin (Immediate, total awareness of all)

quite right foxy, And if they banned that silly make up mirror in the middle of the windscreen, they could cut out the other 20% of accidents too. :twisted:

If people had a bit more respect for each other, it would make such a difference. That applies to those who hog the outside lane rolleyes

, & also those too impatient to give people who need to overtake enough time to complete the manoeuvre safely.
Having worked as van driver some years ago, I am also keenly aware of the frustrations of trying to overtake when driving a heavily loaded vehicle. I just hope that the folks I held up when trying to overtake trucks..... were the same people who on other days, would refuse to let me change lanes, even though I indicated properly etc. mad
