I really can't believe the narrow-mindedness of you lot on this board! Firstly, I don't believe that the link which was placed at the end of my original message gave me any of the answers I was looking for.
Did I say I was going to use it again? No I didn't and I'm not going to either.
How can you expect anyone to get a real understanding when the dictators lock the threads thus not allowing anyone to add anything else? Surely there are people out there who have questions that need answering?
If you want to demonstrate your awesome power and lock this thread or even wave your wand and make it disappear then feel free but for those who will get to read this message before anything happens to it will see exactly how you run things.
As for me, I'm heading off to another forum so you might as well cancel my registration.
Goodbye.

I must admit to being a bit surprised that the thread got locked. I assume it has to do with “illegal drugs”. That aside I was hoping to get some insight into the issue. To me it had the makings of a good topic…..
Elske…Please don’t give up on us. I don’t know why people that can do, but I do know that without them and their hard work we wouldn’t be here. We have to trust that sometimes someone else knows best. 8)

It was ALL to do with an illegal use of a prescription only medicine. Nothing to do with judgement of others, narrow mindness or morality - this site HAS to comply with the law in UK and any deviance from that makes it liable for closure. Apart from that, no-one who has responsiblity, on any level, here can condone or encourage the use of non-prescription medicine.
Sorry, but that's the way it is.
Jags - I totally agree.
Elske, lets assume a lot of people had a wide ranging discussion about the merits of taking a prescription drug that was obtained without prescription and that discussion went unchecked - someone at a swinging party dies and everyone interviewed points to this website and says "well they said it was ok when we discussed it there and that the side effects have not been seen for real" or some other blame shifting trite. The next thing is this website gets closed down and the users all end up giving evidence in court.
Think it won't happen - think again - a recent case in the US where a young lad committed suicide on line in a chat room and everyone involved in the chat at the time ended up in court whilst the court tried to discover whether they had encoraged the lad or even conspired in his death.
IF this site was trying to gag anyone elske then they would have just deleted your post or the thread. You never answered the question about whether the drug was prescribed to you and therefore the moderators had to assume it was not and that the discussion was not suitable.
Recently, in another thread, someone posted a link to ripped off software thinking he was helping forum members - the link was quickly pulled and he was told in no uncertain terms that his action was both foolhardy for the site and illegal. Whilst open discussion is both allowed and encouraged - anything which is either illegal or has legal implications cannot, and should not, be allowed to continue.
Think about the consequences of such discussion going unchecked and the potential harm it could have on lives, as well as the potential ruination of a lot of peoples fun if the site was closed.
Stop getting so arsy - pick your dummy up - think about it for more than 30 seconds and then maybe depart for shores less safe.
The moderators in the forum and the chat room do the job for nothing other than a little thanks and a feeling of contributing to a safer swinging environment for all of us - If you cannot see that then perhaps it is a good idea you move on - personally I applaud the action taken by Kat and would have done the same if I were a moderator of this forum.

Jags, you've absolutely no idea!
Yes, it does have the potential for a good topic as bikerguy said. You don't have to lock a thread or delete it to comply with the law - just show that you don't condone its activities. I've been on plenty of forums where highly illegal events are discussed.
I have up the illegal use of narcotics a long time ago and the use of viagra was then. My original question was just a query which I'm sure others would have found interesting. Having been a drug abuser in the past I can see what they do to people and now I don't condone their use either. It feels that by closing a topic off for discussion (especially one that's so closely linked to sex) it's like ignoring it and pretending it doesn't happen.
How can you educate people that way? You can't. Period.
FredFlintstone, I never even had the chance to post a reply to the question of whether it was prescribed or not!

Thanks markus, that's the type of behaviour that will get the thread locked! mad

Maybe not - but it seems that the assumption that it was not prescribed to you has been proven by your own words - you still never answered the question!
Sorry - but do think you are wrong on this.

It is surely a job for the doctor to do that when he prescribes such a drug and not the education by chinese whispers, stories, urban myth and the like that grows around non professional people having such discussion!
I would rather take professional opinion on such matters - you could even ring your lochal chemist and get more accurate advice than you could on here I am sure!

Please be aware than any more debate about this WILL result in the topic being locked again.
You have been told why this has to happen. Moderation is active on this site in order to comply with UK law (amongst other things). You have also been given heaps of advice, suggestions and comments and no further purpose can be served with this being continued.
If you are not happy then feel free to go to another forum (thought you had already actually). Otherwise please comply with site rules.

I'm not wasting my energy typing any more responses to this topic because you're obviously not listening to what I'm saying.
Please remove my registration details because I won't be coming back to this narrow minded board.
Goodbye.

I can't say any more than as already been said by Jags and Fred. Elske - I doubt you're still reading this, you have made your feelings about this forum well clear, but this is for any other interesting parties reading, wondering what the hell we are up to!
As has already been said, whether we think a topic is interesting or not we have to abide by the law. Besides that, as far as the topic concerned goes, we cannot give medical advice and attempts to do so would be foolhardy. If you want advice about drugs (illegal or otherwise) you must seek help from a qualified source.
Now, I'm locking this thread - oh, the power, the power.....
As the moderator who organised the locking of the original string. It may help to clarify why I took the action I did.
1) The original message contained a reference to a dosage of 200mg. To the knowledge of this forum, this is above the maximum level available on prescription within the United Kingdom. This is sufficient to indicate that the use of the drug was not under prescription, therefore, illegal.
2) This site does not condone the in any way the use of any drugs in a manner which is illegall. This includes discussions where members openly admit to using any drugs in an illegal manner.
3) The request to lock the thread came from site members, and was actioned by a moderator.
4) The answer given may not have been the one that was sought, but it was the answer that the members of this site wished to give.
