Me and Mrs Res will have a horsey each. I'll have the one that finishes first and she can have the one that falls at the first and is served up for the BBQ later on.

I'm replying to the thread so that should a horse chosen for me be the winner... I shall 'virtually' declare it a non-runner and have freed it from the horror of those fences.

Just a reminder to all those putting in requests for which horse you want... you don't get to choose in a sweepstake, that's the point of it ;)

Once we get close to the race I will be cutting up the names of all the horses and drawing out a name for everyone who has signed up.
I will then edit my original post with the names of members next to the horse they got.
It's a random process: a sweepstake!

The way this is going we'll all have several horses each! rolleyes

The weather is good up here but rather black clouds rolling in and it did rain overnight... not sure how that'll affect the running. I did my usual non-scientific pick nice name or pretty colours method of choosing who I've backed! wink

i thought the point of a sweepstake was that you didnt get a choice about which horse you had as it was pulled out if a hat for you
