Suddenly I can see the end of the spreadsheet, and seeing it reminds me some of us had targets, and to provide an extra fillip for the last three weeks I thought we might like to see where the “frequent weight posters” are in relation to those Targets.

Ellie 14 lbs to go
HungryP 6 lbs to go
Lil_Bunny no target set
lil_miz_naughty_0204 15 lbs to go
macca100 4 lbs to go
MISSCHIEF no target set
Marya 6 lbs to go
Mister_Discreet 3 lbs to go
Mrs Cov 15 lbs to go
Musketeer 4 lbs to go
redstilletto no target set
steve-teesside 2 lbs to go
Mrs and Mrs Stupot no target set
SurreyBloke no target set
Sussex2 (Mr) 8 lbs to go
Sussex2 (Mrs) 4 lbs to go
Tigersgobounce no target set
Those in double figures are probably going to struggle, for everyone else I think a result is in sight, so it’s BIG PUSH TIME for the last few hundred yards to the finish!
I’m a week and day late with this post so –
ALL YOUR NEW WEIGHTS IN NOW PLEASE!!!!!
BTW, the figures above don't include this weeks weight, I know Stupot and a couple of others have already sent me their new weight before the reminder.

I seem to be a non-mover at the moment. sad 11 st 10 lbs.
Well in to the 10th week and i can honestly say we've stuck to our diets religously , well apart from a 5 day mini-break away . Saras lost 8l and i've lost 15lb . The trouble is the rate of weight loss has now slowed to almost nothing each week . We havn't altered our diet in any way , just plateaued out as you apparently do . I can understand this with Sara as she has not much more to lose . But me , i'd like to lose another stone . Any ideas on how to kick start the weight loss again ?
LIve on iced water and Muller lite yoghurt at the moment . The new Apple Pie is a particular favourite biggrin . Put my pedometer on each day and manage 10000 steps . I reckon thats nearly 5 miles with my stride . In the last couple of weeks i've lost 3 lb. Expected more and feel a little disappointed sad
Jesus Im gonna be scared to come to the scottish munch now with all these skinny people confused

I think the pedometer thing is OK for couch potatoes, gets them on their feet, but what's really needed is the kind of exercise that gets you out of breath. I'm walking each morning with the wife, it's only I think about a mile and half but includes three long uphill pulls, and we don't wander, we go at it at the "yomp".
Having said that I have also reached a plateau and am finding new weight loss a real problem. It has happened on previous diets and I'm sure I'll start going down again soon, but it is a bit depressing. Also my wife has decided she's also on a diet, except that she sneaks out for a Ryvita with some cheese on or something between meals and insists I share her guilt by having one too.
Ryvita isn't that bad, but cheese is the enemy! How about replacing it with bovril (or marmite if you are a disgusting perve who likes it)?
I've been vaguely following the Slimming World diet, which allows unlimited amounts of certain foods, such as melon, pasta and baked beans. The reasoning behind this is that if you always feel hungry, your body hangs on to as much of it's reserves as it can, causing the plateau effect, so feeling hungry but consuming no calories is actually worse for your diet than being full of something that your body can extract some (but not many) calories from.

This makes a lot of sense for weight loss and you are the living breathing proof that it works. I want to try and stay on a "normal" diet in the hope that my re-education can be permanent. What I REALLY worry about, when weight loss is so hard to find on a restricted input, is how to allow for a chocolate bar once a week and perhaps two units of booze a day, and still not put it all back on again afterwards.
I'm a real none mover, I've tried but health has let me down and so I've not been able to go at it full gusty.
Might try starting all over again, ideally I'd like to loose 2 stone but anything is good smile

After not shifting an ounce for weeks, I've finally lost 3 lbs! Woooo hooooooooooo!
Only 4 more to reach my target!!
How do you overcome the 'plateau' ? . Don't think we can eat much healthier and not enough free time to do any more excersise . Any ideas on how to tweak our diets ?
Hi All
Sorry I havent weigh myself this week as the scales I use are my neighbours and Im laid up in bed with really bad flu.
At least there is one good thing, I know for a fact that Ive lost weight this week casue not really eaten a lot.
As for my final target, Ive not really got one, I wanted to get under the 13 and half stone and I know that Ive already done that, so now Im just happy to carry on. I dont want to lose too much more as I have a very important date in August and need the dress to fit me ;).
i'll pm you my weight (musketeer) as soon as I feel good enought to get out of bed.
Even when the 12 weeks are up I would still like to carry on (if others are through pm or thread) as it is keeping me on the straight and narrow
love to all xxxxxxxxxx
