Mrs TE and i have just had an hilarious discussion as to what music we want played when we're dead!! I enjoyed it so much that I'm determined to shuffle off this mortal coil before her just to ensure she does it!! :giggle:
As my coffin comes in I want 'The Fliight of the Valkyries' playing ( you know Apocalypes Now!) - this I feel will give the assembled grief stricken attendees the feeling of freedom and delightful flight I'll be experiencing at that particular moment.
Then as the proceedings come to a conclusion I want 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life'. This, I want, because I'm such a miserable pessimist now I want all gathered to learn from the experience. (This, of course is total bollox - I'm making the most of it right now!! - get back to you all on that one!!)
So - as they say in the Bar of Heaven or Hell - 'What's yours????'
Strangely my choice is also an Eric Idle song - the theme from "One Foot In The Grave"
Where've you been lately, cu3b4ll my friend? - good to see you back!!
i def wouldnt want tears and crying and stuff i've gone to a better place ...sheeeesh
music wise i want Flying without wings.
