When looking at a profile what do u look for? :confused: We are the sort of people that if there is no write up and no pics we dont bother are u the same? rolleyes We are more then likey to mail some one with a really good write up or pics or both. It just makes us feel that they have made so effort what do u think? dunno

I so agree Dizzy if someone can't be bothered to write the odd sentence wot they going to be like meeting or even in sex!!!!!!!!
Its not like it is really that hard otherwise most of us would have nothing there lol

I'm like that to Donna, much prefer a good write up and some nice photos, with not necessarily cock/pussy shots either.
I have to feel some sort of connection when I look at a profile, but even now, am still shy to make the first move.

am pretty much the same see blank profile and think erm hello that tells me what exactly.... i like a little bit of effort into a profile not to bthered about face pics as long as you can generally see a good picture of the body (not just close ups of certain bits) but on the other end of the scale dek doesnt like these profiles with 20 essays included but he has no patience to sit and read them
oh an does anyone else check profiles and think thats a single bloke or thats whatever......... i do it all the time and deks like how do ya work that out (i usually go via australia trying to tell him to lol :lol:

I like to see pics although I do understand that some people don't feel comfortable having them on public display.
But some text is a must. I like to know something about the person - not just that thye want a shag. And I have to say - loads of spelling mistakes or text speak switch me straight off!!

There is nothing more annoying than someone asking you to look at their profile and there is nothing what so ever in it!!!. It seems a little pointless having a profile but not using it to its full potential dunno. We like to see some pics of body (understand not wanting to put face pics on profile) and we also like to see some text. Wouldn`t contact someone who had neither in their profile.

Me too! There are a lot of profiles that only have the fact that is male, female or both. Sometimes not even anything in the age section.
In my view if people aren't prepared to at least fill in the profile detail, not bothered about photos some people are a bit nervous about this, and a short profile text (which ought to be the minimum requirement) then why are they here?
If people want to be so anonymous that their profiles are virtually blank, then they shouldn't be here in the first place.

Some people here are taking a sebatical(sp?) from swinging and some aren't even here for the swinging but are here for the social side of things...
They are all permitted to be here and at least IMHO are welcome ...

And yes, they are. There are various resons why some people don't put much on profiles. They might prefer to find things out by actually having a conversation. They might not be 'actively' seeking but just seeing how things go.
I don't think that a desire for anonymity means they shouldn't be here.

Location!! OK we're not wanting to see someones postcode, but a general area would be nice.
A profile which looks great, becomes more great if they live within say 100 miles of us. But if they live in Dorset, it would be really difficult to meet them.
Other than that, some details about themselves and a few pics are the icing on the cake.

Sorry, missed this last night because we were out playing at a club with the 10 couples that we had arranged to go with. Maybe people don't fill in a profile because they either don't want to or don't need to. For us this site is a little light entertainment and doesn't affect our play one way or another so why would we need to fill in a profile? confused

Always look for pics - if no pics I move on. Also, I look at what activities they have listed. It helps to get an insight into them and if we would be compatible. I tend to look at spelling and grammar too. I just can't help it.

we are not fussy about profile text, as we agree with a previous comment if you are intrested in the person/people then its far more important to have a conversation with them. we also find it hard to find the time to constantly update the profile text to keep it relevant. however a few kines is normally enough for most people.
However pictures are a must if we dont see any pictures on the profile we do move straight on.
