When you log on to the café, what attracts you to read a thread?
Is it the author or the title of the post? And why?
Its normally the title of the thread that attracts me, but sometimes they are a bit misleading lol rolleyes
I'll read more or less all the new threads-and the old ones if they're a subject that interests me, or I've contributed to.
I'll take a peek if theres a chance Mal will be masterful too lol

You want me, don't you - I can tell!!! rotflmao
I tend to quickly skim each forum, then check out those posts with either no replies or a reply from someone I wouldn't be expecting to be replying to it. More often than not I find the emails, phone numbers and offering payments!!
Only after all that do I get a chance to read the decent threads.

All work and no play Mal.....
My God - you want me as well!! :lol2:
I read all of them just about! Doesnt matter what the title or who started the thread. I only post in threads that interest me though..... and nearly always post a welcome to newcomers if Im around.
Sometimes a title grabs me.... but not often as i always get round to reading them at some point.
I read most of them at some point, and used to then give a considered response to issues that interest me. I like a good mix of humour sex and gravitas. definately some remarkable posters I look forward to though.
I go for title first..
Then if there isnt a title that grabs me I look at the authors....
I rarely,if ever,go past page 1..
Depends how bored I am.......
If I'm really at a loose end I'll read every thread that's been posted for the past few months! lol
Other than that, I grace every new thread with my eyes, I don't think it's very fair to stick to just the authors as some new people can post some brilliant threads also.
Have to say, I love a good debate! wink
I start from the top and then go to ones i have replyed to Ive never really been a friend of search (it hates me) so i never check to c if a thread has been done before i start one biggrin
I only read the ones that have been posted on since I last visited...and even then I'll skim to look at the Titles and only read those that look interesting...
I normally read the threads that ive posted on previously first.
Then I look at the ones that grab my attention.
Then I have to make sure ive seen all the ones that have the read mark for not read on them. I dont feel right until ive done it confused

I have to go in each individual forum before i log out and click the "mark all read" buttons or i ain't happy lol
Generally though, i read locked topics first redface
then topics i have posted in, then interesting ones.
The author don't really have no impact if i should read it or not though.
