okay erm...........................bye
I've had to think really hard to come up with an answer to this, in the end the best I could think of was to say that my current collection goes from Add (n) to x to X-Ray Spex via the following (picking one for each letter of the alphabet):
Bentley Rhythm Ace, Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine, Donovan, Eels, Faith No More, Grateful Dead, Half Man Half Biscuit, Insane Clown Posse, Janis Joplin, Korn, Led Zeppelin, Motorhead, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, The Ozric Tentacles, Pete Seeger, Queen, Rammstein, The Skatalites, T Rex, The Undertones, The Velvet Underground, The Wildhearts, and I couldn't find any for Y and Z, I obviously need to find more music.
ooooooo flucking hell @ Ozrics! I thought I was the only person in the world who'd heard of the Ozrics let alone put em on fave's list
Wildhearts
Joplin

I've been into them for years, seen them a few times, always an impressive live show. The last time was metaphorically on your doorstep, at a festival on a campsite next door to Donnington race track.
Ozrics played at Donny and I didnt know??
Surprised to see Levellers and Pink Floyd aint on your list though...wouldnt happen to have Quadrophenia and CHeech and Chong in ya video collection would you?? wink

Well they played next door to Donnington, the Off the Tracks festival (I think I went in September 2003). Both the Levellers and Pink Floyd are quite prominent in my collection, but if I named all the bands I'm into we'd be here all night and I'd probably have some kind of record for the longest ever post.
Strangely I've never seen Quadrophenia, but Cheech and Chong are definitely in there. :smoke:
Interpol,
Editors,
British Sea Power,
Doves.
Placebo.
Lou Reed
Elbow,
Dukes Spirit.
Maximo Park.
Muse.
Chemical Brothers,
Arcade fire
Joy Division.
Stone Roses.
Bowie,,
to name but a few. wink
:smoke: aint it funny sometimes what people's taste in music/video can often reveal? wink
*takes another guess at......the Doors, Hendrix, Keith Richards, Stone Roses, Bowie....*

The Doors, Hendrix, and Bowie are all damn cool, as is early Stones, so Keith Richards definitely figures. I somehow missed being into the Stone Roses, though I've doubtless danced like a constipated hamster* to them whilst the worse for wear in a nightclub at some point.
*My ever charming little sister's description of how I dance, considering it only used to happen after I'd consumed at least a gallon of beer, I'm in no position to refute her.
as an old git, I am still into punk , ska and reggae lol
Most of the stuff I like is before my time;
Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, UFO, Atomic Rooster, Uriah Heep, Styx, Queen, Stray Cats, Bon Jovi, Guns 'n' Roses, Eric Calpton, Cream, Jeff Beck, Eagles, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, Travis Tritt, The Sweet, Wizzard, Small Faces, Boz Scaggs, Billy Fury, Bob Segar, Bonnis Tyler, Status Quo, Manfred Man, Gun, Radiohead, Everly Brothers, Joss Stone, Jools Holland, Sandy Ford & The Flying Saucers, Belinda Carlisle, Norah Jones, Suzanne Vega.
To name but a "few".
Hip hop, Garage, Drum and bass, R'n'B, I think I am the minority here on this one.
Well some of my favorites are:
NIN, The Wildhearts, Motorhead, Rammstein, Maiden, Guns n Roses, Korn, Marilyn Manson, Black Sabbeth, Hole, Nirvana, Therapy (saw them in Donnington this year, i'd forgot how good they were and suprised myself by still knowing the words). Slipknot, Machine Head, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Cypress Hill, Green Day, Offspring, Faith No More, Motley Crue, Tigertailz. Also started to get into some dance, ie Faithless and chemical brothers.
