What scared you when you were little. A TV show a film?, maybe it was the Daleks? For me one thing stands out in my mind and that is the film of the Stephen king book Saloms lot. It wasent the whole film just the scene where the little boy floats up to the window and taps the glass. I was about 15 before I dare sleep with the curtains undrawn again. I am now and always have been a bit of a horror fan. I dont get freaked out by it but I cannot bring myslef to watch any horror on my own I cant even play games like Silent hill or Resident eveil unless someone else is in the room. I am banned from watching Most haunted cus Mrs Tweeky refuses to go to bed afterwards  what did and what does make you go EEEK.
Mr Tweeky
I shat my self when watching Sapphire and Steel.... That was well scary.... Also I was sure that my Nan's house was haunted... When I stayed there I'm sure someone was in the room with me... (guardian angel perhaps) ... ?
i can honestly say nothing scares me these days so quite lucky on that score but....
when i was about 9 my old man let me stay up & watch one of those hammer horror films the one in question was about werewolves & i was terrified :scared:
as soon as the film was over i had to go to bed & used the downstairs toilet while i was using toilet unknown by me my old man had climbed into my bed (which was the top bunk) & i have to say at this stage he is very hairy! & yep you have prob guessed it
i climbed into bed put my hand on his arm & jumped at least ten feet backwards :scared:
its a good job we lived at least a mile from nearest neighbours or they would prob have called police after hearing my scream lol
thankfully im over it now & love a good horor film biggrin

Raggety, the stick creature off Rupert lol
I remember that one ( I'm a bit of an old horor movie/exploitation movie bore) a bit like "thing from the adams famly gets a strop on!! One of my favourites as a child, if iremember rightly it even takes the mick out of itself at the end with a pece to camera and a hand crawling up towards the gy's throat and it's his own hand.
When I was little.....
spiders
sticks you had to walk over redface dunno
my Dads shaving foam

Even now if I hear it, it would make my flesh crawl, although I don't quite rush to hide behind the sofa as I did when I was little redface lol
CLOWNS! OMG! I was frightened at a circus when I was around 3 1/2 years old by a hugh clown with bright green and orange hair  :eeek:
Sitting with my mother a couple of rows back from the front, he rushed over to us, swept me up into the air and ran around the circus ring with my held over his head  :eeek:
I remember screaming my head off . . . . . and pissing myself in fright, which ran down his arms on onto his sleeves surprisedops: :fuckinghell:
I can still vividly remember how thick the white makeup was on his face. It was cracked and flaky, his lip makeup was quite grotesque and he had foul breath too confused
So yup! Even 40 years later there is no way you'd get me asking Ronald McDonald for his autograph or buying one of his manky burgers either :scared: :scared: :scared:

When I ws about 4 or 5, I was terrified of: motorbikes, men with beards, butchers shops, vacuum cleaners, Santa Claus and the chimney sweep. When I was a little older I overcame thesefears but i remember being frightened of the opening music to Roald Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected.
Now the only fear I have is putting on weight.

Some of us are very glad you've managed to overcome that particular fear smile
I remember watching when I was about 11 and it scaring the wits out of me.
Well one that springs to mind is when we used to live in a small village in the lakes, the only thing to do was once a week going to the cinema to watch horror films.. every Friday.. one film was the Tales of the Crypt and after watching I had to walk home down a really dark country lane.. This was in the early 70's lol.. half way down this lane a bloody great big cow stuck its head through the hedge right in front of me and it looked like something from the film..... RUN you bet yer life I did in more ways than one lol..

Sorry guys too busy having a crush on joanna Lumley to be scared at this one. This was my frst crush and it 's still with me today.
The Singing Ringing Tree did it for me. A mega strange Eastern European children's TV show from the early 1970s. Everyone I know who watched it says the same thing! Bizarre, scary, and great!
