I am scared of being trapped so I have to have the doors open at home (even the bathroom door) clothes and shoes at hand and a clear escape route. It stems from too many natural disasters happening in my formative years (earthquakes, fires...) I sometimes get the same panic with relationships. Once I experience that closed in feeling, I want to flee.

The snake was in the tank and I was in the bed OK? I thought the snake was asleep all the time but when I woke up in the morning I couldn't see it - where had it gone??? :shock: :shock: Now I'm not afraid of snakes - but this was a big 'un and when all's said and done I just don't like the competition alright!! :twisted:

I have two phobias, one is people wearing masks... full face masks give me the creeps!
The other... is balloons... the bane of my life at parties because everyone thinks it's bloody hysterical to throw them at me but I feel terrified and sick... and above all stupid!!

Dolly... I have never met another person who has a phobia of balloons! I have always had a phobia of them, my eyes even go all squinty when I'm near them. I just CANNOT stand the anticipation of them possibly going pop!!

its those full face rubber gimp/ fetish masks that really make my skin crawl - i dunno if i'm 'scared' of them as such, but I certainly dont like them, especially the ones with zip mouths and little tiny eyes holes *shudders*
have no idea what my reaction would be if someone came near me wearing on of those, they freak me out enough in pics so i doubt it would be a pleasant reception lol
