Celebrating Britain's return to sanity.
I wounder how?
If I'd not seen this posting I'd probably have spent it wondering what to do with my free hour that I didn't know I was going to get. As it is Ive now got to go away and think what to do.
May be make coffee for anyone who calls round. How many mugs will I need?

To mark this auspicious occasion 'wor lass' and I will be Whisky tasting in the beautiful city of Edinburgh, then sampling the delights of Princess street.

Hey - us too. TheVillians and I are off to Edinburgh ourselves this weekend biggrin
Maybe we will pass on Prince's Street. And have that thought "I wonder if that normal looking couple swing" pmsl.

Maybe we could have coffee flavoured brandy - be a shame to water it down too much!
Both at the ready on Sunday!!
we will probably make the most of it and have an extra hour worshiping (each other, otherwise known as shagging) lol
have fun all
xxx
I'll be spending the extra hour thinking of all the my clients time clocks I will need to change so that their lights come on at the same time, which just goes to show that with every bad point, there's always a good one!
I'll be in bed wondering how many cards n pressies I'll be getting up to lol

Looks like mine will be spent spooning with somebody v-e-r-y nice. smile

Same here, and a wake up nudge that was very welcoming! wink
It would have been spent sleeping piecefully before preparing for work, and mustering reserves for what will probably be an argumantative team stating what they feel is an unfairly adjusted new rota, made to accomodate the holidays of the guys (residents/service users?) I work for.
However, the door was banged quite early (going unanswered by me) by what I later discovered (letter through door) was an electoral roll checking type person!
So in a Sunday Morning Manner, being a day of piece, worship, goodwill and thought for others... I was muttering 'f*ck off, you shyte* calmly into my pillow.

That person clearly has a deathwish! lol
Hmm. I'm back, btw! :bounce:
Late last night, on a stop over at a friend of a friends house to catch an early morning ferry back to blighty.....catch our first glimpse of TV for over a week, and our travelling companion catches that the clocks go back next morning.
Now by this time, we'd consumed a fair amount of vino between the three of us, and spent all evening utterly confuddled as to what time we needed to leave to catch the ferry- did the French put their clocks back too? dunno
1:30 am......just gone to sleep....awoken by Mr W with a raging migrane. 1:40 am, tip-toeing through a pitch dark, utterly unfamiliar house, barefoot across a sharply gravelled drive to the car to find Imigram, wrapped in a towel....get confronted by the most feck off huge owl ever....
1:45am, hand over pills, get back into bed......Mr W complaining that he's about to be sick.....me thinking well go do it fecking quietly then....
Hmm, I'd have rather been shagging evil
And remember......all this was in the name of the Anti-Marmite fight lol
redface surprisedops:
Well I went out last night with some pals and then stayed over at a pals house. I got up this morning and crept out as I was meant to be at work at 10am. I was a little early so even had time to go and pick up a fry up on my way in. Feeling pleased with myself to have managed to get to work on time after a late night I pulled onto the works cars park to see that my colleague who is always there before me wasn't in yet.....yep you've guessed it I forgot to change the time when I went to bed and was a whole hour early for work :lol2:
No bingo sadly, got up an hour early because I forgot to change the bloody clock. redface

Glad I wasn't the only one then surprisedpps: :lol2:
I would like to have spent it sleeping but SOMEONE forgot to set his phone time back an hour. Still it was a lovely sunny morning and I reckon he (TheVillains - a night-shift worker by choice) suffered far more for his forgetfulness than I did biggrin
I forgot....... as per normal!! Had a rotten nights sleep, got up at the crack of dawn, now in desperate need of sleep!!
I saw on the news theres an ongoing debate of the uk doing away with it. So far Scotland has stopped it.. due to the farthest point in scotland would have even less daylight hours at this time of yr. Great for the southerners though. Be interesting to see what happens!

Really? has Scotland stopped? I really didn't know that. Is this all of Scotland?
So, if we travel up to Edingburgh do we have to change our watches? that'll be very strange.
