In my opinion if it doesn't go in it doesn't count ! Are you with me ladies lol I measure from the base of my penis on the top where there is a convenient angle to measure from.

Surely you measure from where the penis emerges from the pubis to the end of the glans. Pulling back any over-long foreskin - you know who you are boys - as that has little or nothing to add to the practical length.
SO, rest your ruler on top of the (erect for goodness' sake!) penis, with one end nestled where the pubes ought to be and put a flat object (finger, second ruler or large ice cube - go on I dare you!) across the tip of the penis. Read off the measurement and then swiftly apply a warm mouth to the chilled glans to provide a quick warm up.
Maybe we need something akin to BMI - a combined measure of height and weight. We could call it CMI - Cock Mass Index. We'll need a formula combining girth and length.
I will get back to this after I've had a go at working out a sensible relationship.
