"Zanzibar" by Giles Foden. Coincidentally enough, it's about an al Queda plot to attack western interests.

I alternate between a Jonathan Kellerman book and some dry and dusty tome which is promised to help me write my 80,000 word disseration. Guess which engages me most??
cool 8-)
Seriously though.... (for once)
I am swapping from "Michael Connelly - A Darkness More Than Light"
And the "Tibetan Book Of Living and Dying" which is about 2ft thick and very heavy going.

Ah, the 'fragrant' Faye - I find hers too 'nice' - but that's just cos I've read Jonathan's long before she took up her pen. I'm not suggesting that he's better or even good but I do enjoy a good thriller/physcological/detective novel in my down time. Ian Rankin, Peter Robinson; Rex Stout et al.

I'm reading my PM's - and very entertaining they are too!
I've just started Harvest by Tess Gerrison.
Map of bones by James Rollins ... bit Dan Brownish but very good.

Redemption Ark: alastair reynolds...
