Jarlsberg is gorgeous. It's sort of bouncy in texture with a slightly sharp, nutty flavour that is fabulous with sliced apple in a granary bread sandwich.
Having said that Asda are doing a good one - Derby cheese - it's smooth, good flavour and not to expensive. Plenty of flavour for cheese sauce etc.

anything strong, Danish Blue, Stilton, anything really so long as it's not a soft cheese. I don't like my cheese moving on the plate :shock:
