When you started out swinging...

Having had a day full of thinking fantasies and not managing anything else that constructive, I've had a thought going through my mind today...when we started looking into swinging we had an idea of what we wanted to do but as we have gone along, so many different angles have cropped up we have opened our eyes to much more than standard "couple/couple". We're sort of going with the flow and looking at different areas but without changing our original boundaries too much and staying within our comfort level as a couple as it's still very very early days for us.
What i'd like to hear from you is whether you have changed direction during your swinging lives depending on how you feel at a particular time or more importantly if the right person you clicked with came along you but wasn't in your original category for play. Have you ended up playing in a different way to how you started i.e. chasing ads/forging friendships or going to clubs/parties and having more anonymous sex as a result of experiences?

For me yes, my 'activities' have totally evolved (TM Jas) - Believe it or not, when I came to SH i had the sole intention of looking for single guys to play with 1:1, to at one point of even welcoming the prospect of a single male swinging partner :shock: (edited to add : loon

)
Clubs etc didnt feature anywhere in my plans and there was no intention initially to play with couples. My, how times change lol

i now play exclusively with women, or couples where full swap with the male is not a requirement ...as for single guys....well, lets just not ge there eh? rotflmao

I joined SH mainly to explore and realise my bi-curiosity. I wasn't interested at first in meeting guys or couples but have had a couple of good meets with both. One guy in particular is my regular 'intimate friend' ( the only guy I meet though ) and I've had some very enjoyable meets with ladies.
What I didn't bank on were the numerous new friends I've made while I've been here. I've been to a couple of socials ( namely Pete and Caron's bbqs ) and met some fab people there. I've had a fantastic social girly night in with the newly-formed Pussy Posse ( ta frecklebird for the name :thumbup: ) and have another one planned for next month and hope to have another in the New Year. I'm even dipping my toes ( and other bits wink

) into the munch scene too.
I seem to have gone from hoping to meet one or two ladies to satisfy a curiosity to forum gobshite and social addict in a short space of time. And so glad I did! :thumbup:

OMG i don't even know where to begin with this thread lol
when we first started we met couples as a couple only we didn't really make any rules as such thats just how it went, never really though about parties/clubs etc but very soon into swinging i got curious about them, now days we meet single men and women as well as couples go to parties and clubs regular and even meet alone be it a private meet or go to clubs and parties with other people, to be honest i don't really see myself as a swinger no more i feel we more have a open and relaxed relationship, i have no problem at all with my hubby meeting and playing alone with another woman and he feels the same which i think is a point many swinging couples will never get to but it works for us and for us thats all that matters smile

very new to sh and my initial goal was to meet a fem who is in tune with my thoughts/ since changed that to include couples and also fems who are in tune with my a few meets and i must say thank you sh already my life is so much fully occupied and enjoyable lol

So we did.
And it was fun. If a little tricky without going onto the internet. You can't exactly advertise in the local paper too clearly.
Now that we've split up and I'm moving on with my life, I thought why not. I'll see what else is out there. As to why we split up, that's another thread in itself.

Thanks Guys, great stories and just what I was after really. We're planning a party visit soon and a social as well as still looking for private meets...so going with the flow.

When i came here i wanted to meet single fems
I dived straight into chat with out any success. The main rooms being a bit of a free for all and the other rooms having regulars and i seemed out of place
I started then posting on here. I didnt even introduce myself which i didnt even thing of doing but was generally accepted
Now im going back into the chatrooms more.
I have had one social meet to date and it was fantastic and also attended a munch and a social.
I've never activly pirsued meets via ads ect. I just mainly do socials ect and see what happens i have my name in for more munches and socials as this place has become a better social life than i had before though that was not much.
I'm acually not looking for anything now and have joined the Dating Site doing much the same on there as on here.
