...oh btw, Happy Birthday you sexy mids country cracker! :inlove:
Bloody hell is it September already where did August go?
Comr to that where was June and July?
I love Autumn too. I have a busy month ahead. My birthday  36 !! A big night out with my friends coming to stay and taking the toon by storm. Two of my best friends have birthdays too and I get to tell them again, just how wonderful they are.
Swinging wise wor lass and I are busy.
The weather is always wonderful with rain and wind and leaves to 'shush' through. My fire is in and I am remembering all the tricks from my youth to keep it lit. The renovations are almost complete and it is just cosmetic work to do..so my house will be done by the new year to the most part. All in all September is shaping up to be the best month of an already fantastic year.
Bugger! And there was me thinking someone was going to describe how they shagged Grace Slick on a drug-hazed afternoon in 1968
Think I'm greedy too. I love March. The howling winds and blinding, driving rain. Going for windy wet walks in the Black Mountains and coming home and lighting the Rayburn and cooking home made soup from fresh. Ahh heaven.
New growth also starts to appear in much larger quantities too. Not just in plants but in animals too. My favourite day of the year : March the 1st, St David's Day.
I also love October. My birthday falls in this month. And I am reminded of the lovely Dylan Thomas "Poem in October".
Happy birthday venus68 when it comes around.
O may my heart's truth
Still be sung
On this high hill in a year's turning.
heron priested shore.....winged trees flying my name.....And I walked abroad in a shower of all my days....roadside bushes brimming with whistling blackbirds....sea wet church the size of a snail....parables of sunlight....
I'm on cloud nine now! These are some of my favourite phrases from this lovely poem.

Father Christmas brings me presents in December.
That's nice. I'd like a train set this year and a bike. Maybe he won't eat all the mince pies and drink all the sherry this year.
Come to mention it, thieving old git better not take the telly, the dvd player, £250 quid in savings, all the beer and the entire Elvis record collection and he'd better use the Chimney rather than breaking the back window.
I'll be waiting for him this year...
I hate December...
....
January's good though... I like January because.......
(Happy Birthday by the way, I don't know you, but it sounds nice....)
There's a lovely cold nip in the air this morning... ooh how I love it!
AND
the street is quiet, the kids have gone back to school!
I quite like the winter....
especially when there is a heavy layer of snow and the way the snow insulates the sounds of passing cars etc and makes it so quiet...
I always loved August. Now I love September. Fresh apples from the tree. Still an air of herbs in the garden, if the sun comes out. Not yet cold enough to have to rap up.
