...In your house.
(Inspired by Cubes)
I was going to say who is the best cook in the house but thought better of it.
I love to cook when the Lady will let me in the kitchen, we just made lots of chutneys for Christmas.
What do you like to cook... My fav is currys and Sunday roast
The lady does most cooking in our house, but I do it better...Shhhh
I do (and I do it better to) infact I do all the cooking unless you count toast or carry outs
I like to cook casseroles and stews, homemade pies and soups, cakey buns and christmas cakes
all sorts really
I should be in Cubes' stodge thread lol
There are 6 of us here, and I tend to do most of the cooking, my mum does help as well and I am slowly teaching the monsters to cook!!
There are now 2 meals the teens can cook themselves- spicey chicken wraps and a chicken, pesto and pasta dish.
I tend to do the majority of cooking in our house. I don't do too many fancy meals but I can turn my hand to most things. I made lasagne for the first time last week.... it was the dogs! I do a lot with mince (chilli, spag bol etc) and chicken features quite often. Sunday roast every week of course.
Interestingly, an article on the radio last week stated that most "housewives" rolleyes have a staple list of just nine recipes that they make over and over. I can relate to that.
Well i do most of the cooking in our house,as i normally go into the kitchen and start cooking, but in all honesty the cooking in our house is 50/50 split.
ohi do all the cooking in my house, the cats dont have thumbs wink
i love cooking, thai curries, tagines, stews, casseroles, roasts, mince n dumps, lasange, chilli, spicy meatballs, cakes, christmas cakes
i just lurvvvvve to cook
Earthy x
I do the cooking.
Mrs Res does the burning and scraping off the plate/inside of the microwave.
It works for us.
OMG!!
Let Mrs Gu loose in the kitchen - NEVER!!!!!
I (Mr Leics) does the most cooking , infact we had `swinging friends` round last night for dinner ,which i cooked in front of them in the kitchen diner ,whilst Mrs Leics & `friends` drank wine. I cooked a nice little Italian dish with a yummy by a naked soak in the Hot Tub !
gary does 99% of the cooking in our house
I do most (read all) of the cooking in our house lol
I do a mean chilli, roast, heidi pie, curry, chinese and loads more that I can't think of right now.
Today however, I have eaten a yoghurt and some oven chips as *Him* is eating out for his Christmas do with work. It's no fun cooking for one, but goes a long way to explaining why I was a skinny runt when I first met *Him*
*Her*
ME lol
Not through choice of course, but I do a Spag Boll to die for <#3 sons words, not mine> and a potato salad that apparantly deserves an award .. <all 3 sons comments, not mine>
I also do a 'Trail soup' < see other thread> that hits the spot, and I'm told that when i concentrate, i do throw together a passable sunday roast dunno
Whatever i throw together, i guess if you were starving, you'd be greatful for it ......... just stay away from myy Risotto, did one tonight, and no, tasted no better than it looked ............. had a blonde moment with butter ............ long story ... redface
P ;o)
I do 80% ish. Although the OH decided to start cooking as a hobby recently, which meant all of a sudden the stuff we'd needed in the kitchen suddenly started to materialise rolleyes
The thing is- on the whole he's a better cook than me. I spend 20 years honing my mediocre skills...he walks into the kitchen, and after I've explained how to work the oven...produces something mouthwatering. Barsteward.
I did more at one point but Mrs Tweeky has taken to do a lot more recently. I must admit I enjoy eating more when someone else has cooked as I am far to judgmental of my own food.
i cook everything myself.
i have to watch what i eat and drink as i have to maintain the same weight.
i cannot even have an energy drink as most of them are classed as a banned substance and also most prescription drugs are also a no no.
sounds depressing doesn't it but you get use to it.
oh btw. im so sick of rice
tomato and brasil i love with rice.
then add about 2 tins of tuna flakes to it.
plus the 6 pints of milk a day i drink where will it end lol x

I do all the cooking now.
My repertoire is expanding and I'm learning more dishes as well!
.
I do 95% of the cooking (including Christmas dinner, which last year was Goose)
and I'm better at it.
However, 12 years ago I could burn oven chips I was that rubbish at cooking.
we both like to cook, but at the moment its our Son who does all the cooking at the mo and he's very good,
