rotflmao :rotflmao: :rotflmao: I thought your favourite all time best song was the birdie song! redface lol
Favourite ...
Took a while for me to think :- maybe the Cure; or REM; or Queen (Killer Queen); but in the end it has to be the one and only Blondie for me !! biggrin or even :D :D ... !!
Nothing better than a bit of Jazz, but mainly older stuff (Miles Davis, Charles Mingus, Art Messenger etc). Mrs Ego hates it though, the complete lack of defined melody and rhythm disorientates her completely :P

If I was able to choose only one, I would but for me it's impossible.
Mind you, if Christopher Lambert wants to pop over and choose one for me, I'd make him most welcome :-D

That's an awesome CD Bri, have you been hacking my 'Chilled' folder? lol.
If you like Ambient Music, you need to treat yourself to these >>>

Well it has to be Bruce Springsteen doesnt it?
Why?
Well, still 'cutting the mustard' creativly, unlike s many artists of a certain age who just rely on past glories.
Last years band album won grammys, year befores was complete departure celebrating ethnic american working class music, this week the title song for the film 'The Wrestler' won award at Venice film festival.
And live, wow, still playing unbelivable 3 hour long shows !! Over half of songs featured are changed evey night!!! (actualy takes requests from crowds at stadium shows)

I agree was lucky enough to have seen them live once.
Hubby followed them from 73/74 backing mott the hoople and has been them 9 times over the years.
We are off to see Queen and Paul rogers next month, not the same but we are also great May fans. I will report back here what I thought after I have been.

God Bless Richard Wright - Pink Floyd were something else, another great loss to cracking music sad
