Today I have been having quite an in depth conversation with one of our sons whose 19 the topic started about happiness in our lives and progressed to how he thought me and his father have changed since we started swinging. This made me think how lucky we are for a number of reasons and made me wonder about the rest of our community ...Who knows you swing, apart obviously from the rest of us in here.

Umm..... both my parents know we swing (mr swc). Not quiet sure how the conversation came about but they know now. Dad just grinned and said nuffin, mum said been there, done that and wasnt fussed :scared: so am need of therapy now. But this also raises another question, do you think that swinging is past down, did your parents do it too and we just dont know????
Absolutely none of my vanilla friends or family know and I couldn't or wouldn't have it any other way. Hats off to those who have the guts to tell people I just haven't. Maybe I'm scared I'll be frowned upon who know's but at this moment in time I'm keeping my horny fun to myself and Jay (oh and you lot!)

Can't say it worries us they know but if we were honest we quite like the naughtiness that goes with people not knowing etc.. The where have you been, what have you been up to this weekend etc and the little giggles that go with..

I have made friends on here and they obviously know. But only my friends in real life know who I am meeting so they are able to look out for me.
That said I am very discreet and no-one that I have been with knows who else I have been with. Although I do get a lot of people(on here) asking others about whether they have fucked splendid. And others question whether I am a swinger because they don't know that I have 'swung'

Hmm- my best friend knows. The guy whose house we stay at in France knows (late night chatting + tequila, but we knew he'd be cool anyway). He's very close friends with our neighbours- who don't know. However, they're very worldly and I'd like them to know in the future. I just daren't broach the subject in case I let slip that I'd sooooo love to bonk the husbands brains out.
My TKD instructor knows. In fact, I gained his respect when I told him. I was explaining something about a situation that had arisen in which I'd needed to assert myself. In order for him to know I wasnt being duplicitous, I had to tell him we had "an unconventional marriage." The only thing he could think of to say was "that's ok" to which I replied "great, but I wasn't asking for your permission!" In that moment I gained his respect as no-one ever stands up to him! A couple of guys at TKD know too, one of who'm is now my "gay boyfriend"
My lover knows- he's not a swinger, and very not into the whole idea. However, he does get on really well with Mr w, which is kinda awkward for him but he's getting there!
The crew of the ship I sail with know- and it was on board, surprisingly, that I received my one & only lecture on morality. Apart from that one girl, it's really cool to be in an environment where you have no secrets for a while. It leads to some giggles too.
Last time Mr W dropped me off, he came aboard for a cuppa, then I walked him back to the car. We disappeared from view over the concrete apron. No-one else knows that we swing. I have been tempted tho to tell friends etc but have always bottled it
With us my mother knows as I always had this honest, open and non-judgmental relationship with her and surprisingly she approves and says that I am lucky to have found a wife that shares my idea of life and enjoyment as a couple and my wife's older sister, who at the same time is her best friend. Both my mother and my wife's sister would never say a word to anyone else - they are like a locked safe at the bottom of a very deep ocean. My wife's sister, even though she was surprised first, also approves and in conversation she often admitted that she would really love to have that same relationship with her husband but there was not even a slim chance that he would ever even consider anything of that nature. But she always loves it when they both get time together and then they talk about everything and my wife has told me that she always has to tell everything that we have done in the last few months in great detail.
