We went to see Katherine Jenkins on Tuesday and me and Mrs VFRRider think that she is probably the most beatiful woman around. Gorgeous, talented and seems very nice with it.

Cosmetic beauty is something I change my mind about regularly, depending on who I've spotted, and what they were doing at the time. In the past I thought Angelina Jolie was up there, but then I moved on to others. The latest is Audrey Tautou after seeing her in a film on telly this week. What's not to like?
The thing is that an actress might be the most beautiful person in the world when portraying a certain character, but in real life they might turn into someone far more ugly.
On the other hand, the most beautiful person in my world is my wife. Not just for her looks, but because she's my greatest friend and lover, and she manages to put up with me! :lol2:

I know I'm old-fashioned, but I feel that any woman can't be said to be beautiful with any more than minimal make-up, preferably none. A skilled make-up artist can work wonders. I'm not saying the lady above (don't know who she is) isn't beautiful - but in that shot I can only say she is beautifully made up.
Nor am I knocking make-up, I have some myself (doesn't see the light of day very often but that's a whole other therapy session, LOL).
Beauty has so much to do with situation. I love seeing a woman relaxed and busy doing something and not concious of how she looks. Then, depending what she is doing, her face can be radiant and her body relaxed, which is much more attractive than any pose.
But that's just me.
Sadly I can't find a picture that illustrates what I mean.
Nor am I knocking make-up, I have some myself (doesn't see the light of day very often but that's a whole other therapy session, LOL).

I`m going to be a bit cynical here and say some of these ladies are very attractive (not sure who the one plim added is???) but it still hasnt bought them any great happiness.
Cheryl may be considered one of the most desirable women in the world but her hubby still had to go elsewhere for his jollies.
Angelina is on her 3rd marriage, so does it mean that just because you are considered beautiful it is enough to get you by in life?
