Respectfully suggests "knitting", its a barsteward to get the hang of, every now and then you drop a stitch and just when you think youve mastered it someone changes the pattern.

This is something that was mentioned in passing in the "hardened swinger" thread, and it peaked my curiosity. Any purists among us care to explain this to me?

To say that in a scenario where a couple are having sex with a single, the couple are swinging but the single is not, is nonsense. They are all engaging in exactly the same sexual activity.
It's back to "labels" again!

What Jed and Sasha said sums it up for us...
The definition has expanded to include a whole range of things that the scene itself now embraces.
We have said this before, the only person who really defines what the word means to you, is you.
If your a couple who only plays with other couples and that's the way you see it fine and good, though we doubt few couples will turn down a bisexual single female for a night.
If anything The Scene now is more diverse than it ever was and that can only be a good thing in the long run.
