why dont women reply back to me?
This isn't an escort agency where you pay your money and you get a shag! As numerous people will tell you, you only get out what you put in, and in two weeks you can't have put in much.
What were your expectations? I only wonder as you say that after having no luck after two weeks you are wondering whether you have wasted your money.

:doh:Perhaps someone can confirm this but I believe most women who advertise get hundreds of replies. If you do the maths that doesn't give you very good odds for success. It also means there is little chance of them repling to responses with a polite 'no thanks'

so you have replied to adverts in women looking for men......let me tell you about a female friend who put up an ad in women seeking men, she ended up getting 500 replies in one week!!! so she could afford to be really..... really choosy!

Yes Keeno I would say that is spot on.
There are far more single males here than fems and couples so they do get inundated with messages. However, I think it's just basic manners to reply to someone who has taken the time to reply to someone's ad with a polite and courteous mail-even if it's just a, "thanks but no thanks" reply. But please bear in mind that a lot of couples get mails that are obviously random (eg a straight male replying to a bi-cpl etc) and feel no need to respond as the 'criteria' hasn't been met/acknowledged.
Yes there are ads on here that aren't genuine (for whatever reason) and the Mods work bloody hard to make sure these ads are deleted. That doesn't mean that every fem and couple is a fake though, just that they may have lots of messages to read and little time to reply ;)
To Kelboy_40, maybe you want to try and make your ad/profile stand out from the masses ?

must admit, seems to be alot of timwasters on here from my area, i suppose there are good members but not many, everytime i do a search the ads have been dorment for like 25 weeks etc
the search facility would be better if it searched by last visted, might have a slight glimmer of hope.
we should have an ebay style rating on here too, i know the site owners have plenty of time

What would you class as a timewaster, someone who doesn't reply to you? Someone who doesn't reply to a reply? Someone who says they'll meet but wont give a time and a place? Someone who doesn't show up?

Just a thought.... could be that that the people you reply to are not impressed with the poor spelling and punctuation?

Sometimes you have to look a little further afield than your own 'area'. Other people may think that a half filled in profile with an age of 108 may possibly be a time waster.

Yes. Go to 'My Photos' click off 'profile and /or public'. Click on 'private'. It should then be hidden.

I'm lucky because I'm female? If I get 100 pm's and none of them have taken the time to read my profile then I may as well have had none. I get inundated with whispers in the chat room, all of them run a mile if I suggest actually meeting, I go in as a couple and sometimes even go in as asingle mail for some peace and quite (I know that's naughty and I don't do it often). I hate the them and us attitude. I like talking to people, getting to know people, which is very difficult when all they want is to be able to add a sbf knotch to thier collection.
