I'll translate for you all...ahem!
"Our fantasy is to lose at strip poker and be thrown out of the house where the game was taking place with only one item, our front door keys. Whereupon we have to make our way home stark bollox naked."
Rather odd fantasy if you ask me, but differn't strokes and all that! rolleyes
LC wink

b (be) throun (thrown) out with nothing bar
r (our) front door key. and b (be) left to fing (find)
r (our) own way home as we r (are) redface

A not-very-convincing attempt at text speak, further hampered by the failure to realise that "are" and "our" are in fact two completely different words, even if they are pronounced the same in backward areas. ;)
If you check their other posts its not JUST text speak . Its a spelling issue . Perhaps slack would be suitable . Who knows ?

Ahhh.. see, being the non first language speaker of English, I actually read that as;
R is to lose at strip poker and being thrown out with nothing but our front door key, and being left to FINGER our own way home as we are....
Which puts a different dimension to whole thing , don't you agree?

I'll have very small wager on the thread title being something to do with wild fantasy?
Despite what some people seem to think, I'm not a crusader for spelling, grammar and general pedantry, but I had to comment on this one because it's so unmitigatedly awful. If people can understand you, then you are communicating effectively, but if you make people go to a conscious effort to figure out what you're saying, that's just plain lazy and rude, IMO.

:lol2: I was thinking of the last masquerade, in which no fewer than 3 people dressed up as yours truly and proceeded to assassinate my character with loads of indefensibly multisyllabic verbosificationisms and soapboxing about bad spelling and stuff.
I don't do that. Ever. ;)

Oh, FFS!
I am so annoyed that dyslexia is used as a catch-all excuse, these days.
It seems that once a child is given that 'diagnosis', then everyone is supposed to accept they will no longer even attempt to learn.
A (supposed) adult telling me that "all these silly marks in between letters" mean nothing to them, manages to ingratiate that person to me a grand sum of... none.
How can being 'word blind' cause you to refute the existance of punctuation?
No, truly, I want to know.

Don't feel bad Maia, even dyslexic people go to school and are educated in the use of punctuation and spelling, although they do need special help to understand them. Debbiewebs is dyslexic and her posts are infinitely more legible than that.
I'm not even going to attempt to correct it because I wouldn't know where to start.
