Ok,it is the time of year when those awful Chistmas songs are filling the shops.
Which is your worst one of all time.
I have a few that stick in my rowing boat everytime I hear them

Cheeky Girls --Cheeky cheeky Christmas or whatever it was called

awwwww I liked Cliff Richard's Mistletoe and wine.......... christmas just isn't christmas without the terrible songs to accompany it.
My fave one of all time that I never get tired of hearing is "last christmas" by Wham. I loved George Michael in his Norweigan knitted sweater running aroud the hills playing snow fights with folk...... mmm roaring log fires in wooden cabins..... mmm
the one was so awful! there are so many bad christmas songs, where to start really!

John and Yokos is a great Christmas single.
And I've mentioned this before - a fantastic Christmas album is Jane Siberrys "Child" a double CD,recorded live,of original and traditional Christmas songs,often deeply moving,sometimes sugar sweet but a totally unique,atmospheric take on the festive season - I swear if any of you risk a few quid on Amazon or whatever and get this album on spec you will be blown away by its beauty and you will have to say those words so rarely heard around these parts - "Flirty Fruitcake was right!" wink
