Could you have a hobbit?Well i guess you could but i'm not quite sure where you would get one try ebay i suppose.I would imagine that having a hobbit would be very handy for doing the housework since they can get into all those low and difficult to reach spots. 
Wouldn't let your hobbit do the cooking though since the cooker may be a bit high without the aid of an orange crate to stand on.I would imagine they take quite a bit of looking after though,certainly more than a goldfish.
