Xmas wish

Hi all,
Well the manic time of year is upon us again, time to party and hope to get a good time at the office do.
A question. What is everybodies new Christmas wish?
Personally I'd like it to be for my girlfriend to come home late from a night out to say that she'd just been having sex with another woman. (Please Santa, I've been a good boy). Failing that a positive reply from a woman or couple over 35 would get me leaving extra brandy and mince pies out on Dec 25.
How about anyone else?

Judging from where the posts in the Forum come from you are in the right area. wink

. If you don't mind waiting a little then there is always the NW munch on Jan 10th, which I am sure will have lots of possibilities. Especially as you have so kindly organised it. I am sure there will be lots of stocking-clad lovelies who would love to show their gratitude!

not wanting to come across as snobby..beleraphon WAS alex's horse..but named after the greek hero who first rode pegasus,and in doing so decided to try and fly to the gods of olympus....the got pissed at him trying and shot him out the original pride before the fall....*sigh*..I wish I wasn't such a turd sometimes

Ahhh biscuit! Not a turd at all! Anyone with Classical knowledge is fine by me. I knew the horse was named after someone but couldn't for the life of me remember who. Many thanks for reminding me. That's definitely worth a beer if we ever meet.

Wow! All these replies.
I called myself Beleraphon after one of the ships in Nelson's fleet.
That was only because I forgot the name of the Temeraire, which was in one of Turners paintings. Sad I know, but the name Pleaseletmeshagu was to long to type.
OK, another one on my Xmas list: That girl in burgundy shorts in my gym class. What a pity leotards are out of vogue.

Being an Atheist, I don't do Christmas. I do however celebrate the old Pagan midwinter 'Blowfest' and pig out on Dec. 25th. After all the 25th. Dec. was hijacked from the Pagans by the Christians. I don't do cards or presents, all my friends know this and respect my views. 8)
One great advantage of this is, that in mid January when I get my Credit Card bill it is probably the only one in the country that has an outstanding balance of lol

It's not that I am a Scrooge, but I do like to choose my own underwear, socks and sweaters etc., and not have to wear those horrendous things given at Christmas as presents by so called friends and relatives. 8)
To be honest, Christmas is no longer a religious festival anyway, it's a commercial enterprise. rolleyes

If you want to take part, that's o/k by me, just include me out.
If after this I'm allowed a Christmas wish, then I wish it would go away, permanently.

Good on you Harry 8) . I don't do cards either, but as there are children in the family I am forced to exercise my bank balance considerably at this time of year :silly: . I'm very much looking forward to the day when I never have to buy pressies again.
I totally admit to being a scrooge - but that's nothing to do with Xmas, I'm mean the other 364 days of the year too.
