Next time you see a lone car, parked in a very dark location, with a seriously middle-aged couple, fully clothed, sipping coffee, minding their own business, staring at the sky, and getting very irate when some prat flashes full beam at them for 15 mins......Perhaps they are trying to spot Perseids through a gap in the clouds?!?!?!?! evil
Short story in local paper today, ecluded lane, just off the main road between Atherton and Westhoughton, Satruday, car with young couple in,3 men struck up a friendly conversation, then snatched car keys, smashed all windows and took off with valuables, phone, cash, keys etc. Happened around pm. Beware both extra police and dodgy blokes. :!:
It might not be such a good idea to visit a popular location in Leigh, Lancs late at night, due to a Gypsy camp which has happened on the car park!
Not browsed the forum for a while, just noticed this thread.....Whew! This woman has more lives than next doors cat!
Rememer that old joke....
"I would like to but some talc, where do you keep it?"
"Walk this way and I will show you"
"If I could walk that way I woould not need the talc!" etc etc........ wink
Is it just me or is there something slightly familiar about this SH member, ie, previously registered at least twice before? confused:
Went to the beach in question late last year to grab some sea air, eat lunch and fly kite, and were followed by a bloke in a big car several times. He gave us a 100 yards start, then, as soon as we parked up, he parked beside us! Not out of the ordinary in a secluded car park late at night, but on a fairly quiet mile plus stretch of sand at lunchtime, a bit disconcerting, and he still hung about even after the cups, flask and Kite came out of the boot.....Perhaps just a lonely (ass)soul?
confused bolt
(not my fault my car has blacked out windows, like that when I bought it, called privacy glass)! rolleyes
Oh dear, the poor Belgians might be confused if they are in Wigan, as a local school under threat of closure started a campaign. All those who wished the school to stay open were to show their support by tying yellow ribbon to their car aerial. There were hundreds, including every taxi in the town! :confused2:
Him and myself not into the dogging scene actively, but greatly enjoy reading the messages posted in this forum. We too have been pestered, while eating our soup and butties, by a tall dark haired man in a black range rover, the expensive newer variety, both at Rivi and Leigh....could this be the same one? dunno (he came so close once Himself wondered wether he was trying to dip his roll in my Minestrone! rolleyes
BeeBeep, I think the owner would only run into copyright problems if they tried to pass the car off as genuine Burberry! If tempted to sell such a delightful set of wheels on, say, eBay, perhaps the description to include Nova Check, would gett through their VERO net ok. wave lol
Well, I got the joke, but only because I have heard or rather seen it before. Very visual one, imagine a giant clam, now left hand and place it in your right armpit, lay your right arm over the top of your left and grip your left shoulder, bring the 2 arms level with your face, open them and close them like a clam shell, speaking the imortal words "FANCY A F**K " etc. Hence, the mating call of the giant clam. Not half so funny once you have to explain it. rolleyes
Obvious, innit, the posting is getting so many hits because our friends who don't know the area read the header and think "3 Sisters......Up for it........In Ashton????Wow, my fantasy"!
lol
Three Sisters is well patrolled, with a Warden living on site, plus another resident on the race track. It will now be even more frequently checked out! Tut! banghead
Further to Jomu's observations, we have been dogged in broad daylight several times (see my very first post) while eating lunch in the car (not each other) and have been followed from one location to another too. We have had more rythmically moving lap-balanced newspapers next to us that salad sandwiches lol One day we got so fed up with the dogger in the blue car we gave up on lunch and went to the barn cafe, only to watch him cruising other picnikers(?) from the cafe window. Hard times eh? dunno
Looking at the pic more closely, I think it was the car that got Sh@gged!
I have a link to a local newspaper item from yesterday (26th Aug) relating to an attack on a couple in Leigh, As the article names a specific location I feel it unwise to post here, but enough to say it is serious stuff. P.M. for a link.
biggrin New to this site, and hit on it after reading bits in the press, and related it to own experiences. Neither myself nor my other half have experience of dogging, or so we thought, but, call me dumb or what, we had a few un-nerving experiences in and around our area, the barn, the flash etc, being very obviously watched while we did nothing more racy than eat out egg salad rolls, at lunchtime, in good light, by men in cars, all with newspapers on their laps! One day, had a cuddle before returning to work, and noticed a previously-considered empty car wobbling a bit, and a flash of rythmic hand-like motion going on! You can still call me dumb, but I completely freeked. Later I was told all our lunch rendezvous were dogging locations redface Then there was the very pushy guy in the big black 4x4, it just goes on. Please, in broad daylight, in a well busy area, we are not there to be watched. (Perhaps it's the blacked out windows?)
