Really? Been living around here for two years now and have all but given up to the point where I'm having to drive 45 miles back to my old haunts where I used to live. Only problem with those places is they now seem to be largely populated with Boy Racers and Police. In fact the last time I went back "home" I was snapped by a camera hanging out the side of a riot van!!! So, if anyone local can point me in the right direction to tempt me out of my enforced retirement I'd be most grateful. I know there's plenty of lanes and lay-bys around this way but nothing by comparison to what I'm used to. I have found one spot I thought would be ideal and Im sure it must have been used in the past, but have never seen anybody there on the occsions I've been around there. It's a pretty well known spot and I'll confirm it or discuss it via PM if anyone wants to help.
