Hi all, I'm aiming to get to Kestrel Hydro during the day on Tuesday 23rd Sept.

I've been a member here for many years but now just drop in now and then. I eventually became quite disillusioned with the scene and ultimately found what, for me at least, proved to be a better alternative.
I wish you all the best in finding a nice couple or, even harder, a single female, on here, it does work for some but as the 'single male' you will inevitably have ti accept that you're likely to succumb to demand and supply I'm afraid - if you were part of a couple you'd be in high demand as would those fairly elusive bisexual single females that loads of couples are after ... (and most fail to bag) ;)
You are going down the right route, be friendly, respectful and polite and you'll have more chance.
I personally gave up a long time ago, I used to give long detailed replies to ads, met all requests and requirements (photos, personalised replies etc), was always respectful and polite etc but in the majority of cases didn't even get the courtesy of a 'thanks but no thanks'. This I always found very rude and frustrating when significant effort had been made in meeting all demands of the advertiser. I appreciate it's a 'sellers market' but to not even get a reply is poor form in my opinion.
Anyway, what worked for me when I got horny in the end? Rather than the long, elusive and hard work in trying to meet a swinging couple (ultimately doomed to failure and after a lot of wasted time) I decided that paying for an escort met all of my needs - seriously - I've met some absolute stunners physically (way beyond my league and far hotter than any I'd be likely to meet here) and had that sexual relief without all the hard work - it's a sure thing!

Sadly as a 'single male' unless you're hung like a horse or gay / bi your chances of success here are minimal.
There are hundreds of ads bemoaning people who send winks too as these don't catch the attention - sending a detailed response and face pic is *supposed* to offer more chances of success (sadly there are loads of advertisers for single men - the majority in fact - on here who don't even have the courtesy to offer any sort of acknowledgement - even to say thanks but no thanks for the fact that you've replied to their ad, even if you do send detailed and specific responses and face pics...)
