In the early eighties, I owned a CB radio and I chose the handle Drifter. At the time, I liked the chocolate bar of the same name and I have always liked the song Drift Away by Dobie Gray. I decided to resurrect the name when I joined SH, just because I liked it. The name has taken on a new relevance to me, as I often travel around the country for munches, other socials and meets.
Thankyou to DreamerHelen for organising the Munch, to Alex the DJ for his usual excellent choice of music and to everyone else involved.
Good to see faces old and new. On this occasion, special mention goes to the following:
Corriefem - Good to chat and dance with you. I also saw your stockings on the dance floor!
Sarah - lovely dress and pink shoes. Thankyou for the warm welcome you gave me as I came into the Munch.
Dawn_Mids - Now you know I can't dance! Good to see you again.
Edinbbw - Good to meet you for the first time and I hope you had a safe flight back to Scotland.

Reading is, of course, the most interesting place in the entire world. Just look how many people list it as one of their interests...
