Hi,

We have recently changed our chatroom settings to give you easier access to the cams without the need for the format flash links etc.

Now if you get an error either watching or broadcasting cams, chances are you just need to go to your settings (which is on the top right next to rooms) 

Then under camera format you will have the following options. 

Flash - This is the most common setting you will need and is used on most computers when the cams just spin.

Webrtc - This is usually used on Tablets and phones.

Webhls - This is for Iphones and ipads 

If you still cannot access cams or broadcast your cams please feel free to submit a ticket and we can give you a hand with fixing the issue.

Sincere apologies, we've located an issue with the regular processes that run which updates the adverts, home page, and similar parts of the site. We're just resolving that now.
Have you accidentally zoomed out of the page? Whilst in the chatroom, try pressing these keys on your keyboard - 'Ctrl' followed by '0' (number zero).

The profile page will error when you try and save it if you are missing a part of your description - on this occasion, it's how you describe your 'Build'. If you select one of the build options from the drop down menu and then press 'Save', your changes will update.
Example:
Sexuality: Straight Male
Age: 52
Height: 6' 0"
Build: - *missing
Assets: No Complaints!
Smoking: I Don't Smoke
Drinking: I Drink Occasionally

This message is a 'Wink'.
A wink is a quick message that can be sent to a user of interest by clicking the 'Send Wink' button on the profile. Every member (free or paid) can send a wink but there are daily limits.
The message that a wink sends can be customised but the message that you've posted is the default version.

Hi,
We've received a dozen reports regarding some webcam problems since Adobe Flash Player was updated to version 11.2 (release date was 28/03/12).
The reports suggested problems that when a user attempts to turn on their webcam, a still frame is shown rather than a continuous stream or the cam is streaming but remains 'zoomed in'. It doesn't seem to be effecting everyone however.
The problem has been discussed on the where Adobe staff have indicated that they are looking into the problem and are welcoming bug reports.
For any one effected, you can downgrade your Flash Adobe version (back to 11.1) by visiting this link:

The download is 174 MB and will need to be extracted from it's zip format and then ran as an executable file.
We hope that Adobe are working on the problem and that they will be very shortly releasing a new update to fix this.

Sorry the application at the moment is temporarily unavailable on the Android market. This should be hopefully back soon.
After this week we'll start work on converting the application to iPhone / Blackberry. We don't know at this stage how long this should take as we're entering new territory, however, as usual, we'll do our best to get this done as soon as possible :thumbup:
For any one who wishes to opt out of being shown on the initial home page, you can change your privacy settings in 'Settings' -> 'Privacy' and tick the option 'Opt-out from showing online on the homepage' followed by clicking 'Save'.
Please note that changing this option may take up to 15 minutes to reflect on the home page.

I've seen a couple of tickets over the past few months from Vista and Internet Explorer 9 web browser users reporting a similar problem viewing videos via the JW Player software that we use.
Please try running your web browser in compatibility view - there's a 'broken page' icon that looks like this at the top of your screen, on the right hand side of the web address bar 'www.swingingheaven.co.uk...'. Please try clicking onto that option and then try watching a video.

At the moment this new increased limit of 125 is just available on The Pool. We're just testing this on one room to ascertain whether it causes any complications such as users experiencing slow system performance and also any complaints that users are unable to keep up with the flow of the chatter due to more people being in the room.

We're sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems.
To help us investigate what is causing the disconnection, could you please use the alternative chat room entry link on the chat room page shown as a text link just below the 'Enter The Chatroom' image:
"Launch debug mode - helps us diagnose connection problems."
Please mouse click 'Launch debug mode' and use the chat room like you would normally. If there's a problem and you are disconnected, this sends the report to our technical team to investigate.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions in this thread.
The advert update on login was implemented with the intention of being beneficial show active members and for members who update their adverts on a regular basis when they log in, but we can now see the problem for those who are looking for meets will see a flock of old adverts appearing in the adverts section.
We've reviewed how the system has worked over the weekend, taken the points on board raised in this thread and via the support ticket system and we have at this point decided to withdraw this function at this stage. We may well re-review this again later stage but for now it's been reverted.

Our sincere apologies for the problems with the chat room. We've now resolved the issue and we're continuing to monitor this.
Are you using the desktop chat room?
There was a new update released for this a few days ago but this should update without any problems.
You could always try starting from fresh by going into your 'Control Panel' -> 'Add / Remove Programs' and uninstall 'SH Chat'. The next time you try to enter the desktop chat room, you will be prompted to download 'SH Chat' again.
Alternatively, there's always the regular 'Enter the Chat Room' link.
