I thought that SH had new members joining all the time !!
If this is so then the new members won't have read any of the "Done to death" posts surely.
Of the many forums i use i can't think of many that "flame" people for, what i consider, relevant posts. Ok they might say "Please do a search for other related post's" but not a total "Shut up about this subject".
I am not new on SH but i won't be posting to the forums anymore as the forum doesn't seem to cater for all. Not very friendly at all IMO, especially for new members, which is bad for any net community.
I post very rarely, but felt i had to post due to the absolutely first class treatment by JackieG after a couple of "spanners in the works" could have soured things but she didn't let them.
I will continue to chat with the people in chat though as they are very, very friendly and always a lot of fun.
I don't want to gripe as i think SH is, without doubt, the best swinging site on the net. I also don't want to annoy people as i always am respectful and polite. I would like to think that people do see me as respectful and polite anyway because that is always my intention.

Censorship of this kind really is not necessary - surely if you don't like the topic then don't read it !!, but don't deny us a right of reply, especially if the post is not derogatory in any way or personally insulating to a named individual..
I personally would happily ban anyone from mentioning Delia Smith but i accept not everyone see's her from my perspective !! So although i h8 her with a passion, i would not prevent people discussing her, but i would "CHOOSE" to NOT bother reading any posts regarding this horrible woman. Better this than to deny people their say just because i don't like her.
Anyway, as a single guy i too have arrived at your conclusion - not through any fault of SH, i might add. They do all they can and remove the dishonest ad's very quickly.
I have reported a few fake ad's which were basically people touting for pay sites. This is the the only way to even attempt to eliminate the genuine from the disingenuous.
I have had some meets with some really, really nice and sincere ladies from SH but it is only by chatting with them in the Chatroom and getting to be known (and hopefully trusted) by them. The outlook i have is that if a get to meet someone fantastic but if i don't i still love the humour and the sincerity of some of the ladies/men on SH chat. I hasten to add that not all meets have been for "Playing", some have been for chats and drinks etc.
I do not expect any "Play" when i meet someone, but if it happens then great.- If not well at least i have got to put a face to a name !!!
Anyway, hope my views here do not get me in hot water as i have had slapped hands before for "Highlighting" the problems Single Guys have on sites like this.

What peeves me and gets me banging my head is, and i've gotta be careful here. The males who come on chat with names that refer to their cocks.
Eg. 10inches..., 12inches.....,6inches....., Wellhung..... etc
Come on like that's gonna get 'em anywhere when noone can bear witness to this fact and would if i were a female, put me right off anyway.

I have had this happen to me too. I initilally replied in all sincerity and receiving the reply saying this:
I (being genuine) then spent 10 minutes writing an Email expressing my disgust at the way his wife must have felt and went into "spiel" about John Stewart Mill and the merits of "Freedom". I feel a total tool now though because i got exactly the same reply (see quote above). As if being a single male and being invited to join someone isn't hard enough, now this sort of thing is happening.
I accept that it is probably now that a high %'age of posts are gonna be "fake" but hopefully in future at least i can avoid writing Email replies that took a lot of thought and time to compile. It hasn't put me off replying to posts but i have now had a few of these and all replies i receive say the same sort of thing.

We got your email but we are not replying to you personally because
we have received 100's of message in response to our advert.
After reading about 50 of them, it soon became clear that the
majority did not read our requirements and most likely, these were
just "copy and paste" messages with little or no thought going
into the content. The impression we got was that we were probably
just one in hundreds receiving the same message,
We are simply not interested in that, we need a 1-2-1 before we would
even make contact.
Some of the messages were downright insulting as they assumed my
wife was a tramp !!!
Other couples we have spoken with say the same and we all agree that
that this is the product of free sites. We have now taken their lead
and gone to other sites, sure we had to become members but the
quality of replies from other members far outways the emails we
had been receiving. We have actually met up with some really nice
guys who had prior fallen into the same trap. They are happy and
we are happy. That's what it's all about.
Just so you know, we did find a site that displays all the best
online UK contact sites. As we have already found out, they are all
real people ... no timewasters. Anyone who takes the time and
trouble to be a member must have something going for them.
It's up to you of course, we suspect most other couples feel
the same way as we do. This is the site where we made our
connections, so maybe we will get the chance to meet you
on the other side.

Multiply that by the number of adverts and we guess that your chances
of meeting a couple or single carry the same odds as you winning the lottery. It must be no different to finding that needle in a haystack !!
We guess that most will waste their time completely replying to adverts
So you know, we have joined another site, it cost a bit to join, did not
break the bank though and we have reduced those odds right down.
We have had 20 messages and apart from one, and there is always one,
we will meet up during the next couple of weeks.
The quality of replies is very different and with all due respect, you really
should take note of this because in real terms, it dramatically reduces your
own odds to 1 in 20 and how you fair in this is up to you and your reply.
My wife has just mentioned that this might well go over the heads of many
as the site has this FREE indication about it. We first thought that but we were wrong.
Hope you don't mind a bit of advice, the chances are you are really
wasting your time, real couples and no doubt singles will go to a site
that gets results, there are many of them.
Anyway, thanks for your reply but that is the end, remember, we have
something you want and that's my wife who is the most incredible sexy
person I have known. She is available for real people only.

Fortunately, a few people on here have seen me either on cam or in the flesh so to speak so i would hope they could vouch that i am who i say i am.
I think that a face pic shows a certain amount of sincerity (If pic is genuine) over a "Cock" pic, but in order to find out if the person is themseleves genuine then there is only one way to do that. The good thing is that that is found out at the same time - By actually meeting them.
Not much of a help though as the bad thing is if either the pic or the person then turns out to be not genuine then it's too late, as you are with them. Unfortunately, (and i may be guessing and saying this without any actual facts), there are probably more that aren't "Totally Genuine" than are and these are the "Bad apples" that,and understandably so, give the same type (i'm guessing single males here) a bad name.
It is very frustrating but thankfully people know that we aren't all the same and they will give the genuine males the benefit of the doubt.
