Can anyone that knows of any decent sites that are actually used these days, please let us know by private message please...want to get out again but all the places we used to go are now either locked up or there's never anyone there !
Best one I heard recently was to 'Eiffel Tower' her...you high five each other over her back (think about it smile)
Mrs J-F-L threatened violence if I ever dared do it while she was being spit-roasted though !!

No, really...it's not working smile Just get a blank screen and 'Movie not loaded' if you right click on the screen. Cookies cleared out, latest version of Adobe Flash installed...
John Squire commented on a Stone Roses reunion recently...
"When Esler asked if there was "any chance" Squire would reunite with The Stone Roses, the guitarist answered: "None whatsoever."
The presenter then questioned whether never meant "absolutely" never.
"Yeah. I'd rather live my life than attempt to rehash it," Squire replied.
"It would be pointless. I find art far more challenging and rewarding."
Esler then asked Squire a final time if he was completely sure about his remarks. The guitarist paused briefly before giving his answer.
"Yeah. That's the whole point of the visit to your studio - I'm trying to stop the phones ringing."
Squire went on to reveal that he hasn't spoken to frontman Ian Brown since leaving The Stone Roses in 1996."
So look forward to that one next year ! smile
As for The Jam...
Paul Weller, who will get a lifetime achievement prize at the Brit Awards, has said he would reform The Jam only if his children were "destitute"
Every reformed band I've ever seen have been a disappointment, whether a full line-up or partial due to fallings out/deaths/whatever !

Oh great and good people of SH I ask for your assistance.

Emily Osment "Once upon a dream"
If you listen closely to the tune, this is based on a classical (waltz?) tune. It's driving me nuts.
Can anyone enlighten me?

Tchaikovsky - Sleeping Beauty
Agree with everything in your post...the database management on here is rubbish !
You did forget to add americanised shite to the reason for tagging though !! smile

sad Oh dear.
Poorly thought out and even more poor that it was implemented.
If the new search can't be made to ignore untagged photos, then I suggest you take your programmers out into the carpark and smack them with wet fish until they fix it.
Seriously? Come on. If a photo doesn't have any tags in the database then omit it from the search engine, it's not difficult. Hey, I'll even write the code for you in whatever language you want with my hands tied behind my back, blindfolded while being force fed marshmallows.
Likewise, it's just as easy to show in the photo gallery that you have UNTAGGED photos and they will therefore be ommited the search engine, put the onus on the OWNER of the photo to tag it.
By all means have an "Report incorrectly tagged photo" button which alerts the moderators if a photo is marked as being mistagged X amount of times.
This is quite simply the worst idea I've seen implemented in a long time. Farewell SH, Hello Mingebook, what's next, txt spk winks? Throwing sheep?
Oh and while we're at it, any chance of making the site stats actually reflect reality? 968K users? pull the other one. How about dropping users from the stats if their account has been inactive for 6 months? I'm more than happy to help with the SQL statement for this too.

From I think one of the best modern lyricists of our time. The late great Kirsty MaColl, such a sharp, witty observer of humanity.
From A New England
"I loved you then as I love you still
Though I put you on a pedestal you put me on the pill
I don't feel bad about letting you go
I just feel sad about letting you know
Once upon a time at home
I sat beside the telephone
Waiting for someone to pull me through
When at last it didn't ring I knew it wasn't you "

I started playing when I was 40...wish I'd started playing when I was 4 instead !
It's harder to get 'muscle memory' as your fingers just aren't as flexible as when you were younger but you do get there eventually.
At least everyone in the house kind of recognises what I'm playing now !
Whatever guitar you get, make sure it's set up properly. Nothing will put you off quicker than a guitar that you need bionic fingers to get the strings down to the frets and that won't stay in tune.
