Happy Birthday for Friday smile The big 30! I hope you have a fantastic party. I would ask for an invite, living in south east London and being free on Friday night, but sadly we've never met nor do we have any mutual friends to vouch for me. I will say that I'm fully house trained (thanks mum!), not lacking in social skills and am generally considered to be a fun addition to any get together :)....Well I am Irish!
Cheers Sean x

I agree The Secretary is very sexy and BDSM is not really my thing but the whole film oozes sex, that Maggie Gylinhall is lovely.....One from the past is the love scene from Don't Look Now with Julie Christie and Donald Christie. And Last tango still gets my vote.
Cheers Sean
I'm going to bid you all goodnight and thanks Blondslave for putting ideas into my head... smile

SEAN
Thanks. Its something I have always been interested in and I wanna give it a go its just that now Im single and you always think of it being a couples thing.

Your welcome. Can be difficult, if not impossable, to convince an existing partner to give swinging a try if they are not interested in the first place so it might well work out for the best trying it while your single. Who knows you may well meet the love of you life... smile
Cheers Sean x
PS You have a pm

Sorry - I really am a newbie - what's a munch ?
Tom have a look at the posts/stickies for munchs and you will get the gist...I'm no expert being quite new on here myself.

Depends what your looking for but swinging is not just for couples its for anybody who's interested in the lifestyle. I would suggest going to a munch and meeting up with others for a social drink and a chat and taking it from there.
Have fun Sean x

We're errr . . . maybe at cross purposes on the music here . . .

Also if you liked the music you should check out 24 hour Party People by the same director. A great and very funny film about the Manchester music scene in the 80's and 90's...

I do like to try and keep up with some modern music - bands of today. From that, liking the music in 9 Songs would not give me an incentive to check out the music in Twenty Four Hour Party People, a movie, as Sean states, is about music of the 80's & 90's. From a point of view of interest in music generally yes, but the fact that those (great in their day) bands are referenced by modern bands doesn't make them modern now, any more than tracing something back to the Stones or John Lee Hooker.
Moby, who was in the earlier movie, still seems to be coming out with new ideas (against all odds) and The Fall (who as far as I can tell were not) are pretty timelessly still belting out albums of more of the same (they're on in Edinburgh next month if anyone wants to join me?)
drinkies
What seems clear is that Mr Winterbottom certainly likes (and knows) his music . . .
(Quick refs for anyone wanting to check listings -

) All fair points Chris, I was just trying to say that the Eightys were not all bad music wise. Now the clothes, thats another matter and maybe another thread...Cheers Sean

 :moon:
Crikey - I agreed with everything you said till that bit, Sean. 24 Hour Party People was a great movie . . . but the music was so . . .
. . .
Eighties! Joy Division, New Order, The Fall, Magazine, etc.....All constantly namechecked by the bands of today....Franz F, The Killers, Scissor Sisters, Razorlight, etc.....I rest my case rolleyes
The best crisps in the world are Tayto cheese and onion. An Irish crisp to be found in certain shops in places like Kilburn or duty free at Dublin airport.
Always remembers to brush your teeth after a crisp snack unless your a fan of the cheesy snog!
