Recently, a lot of bands have been re-forming and solo singers making a comeback. Mostly 80's artists, so good for me! I grew up in the 80's so getting very nostaglic! The only problem is seeing someone I had a mad crush on 20 years down the line .... I have been watching a programme on UK Living about bands getting makeovers then putting on a one off performance... was quite scary...
Anyway, my question is, which band from whichever decade would you like to see re-form? I would love to see The Beat or The Specials play again... what about you? Be interesting to see what you all think!
I have tagged all my pictures, but it still says "help tag these pictures..." grr.
Please take this feature off!!!!!!

But hang on I dont mind my photos being in the public gallery and I know people can view them all and it might take hours to find ours on there, and I dont mind them being viewed by my profile, but I dont want people then being able to search for people by my photos on how far away they are from me.
For one I would like the system to be sorted so the pictures collectors can not download any pictures from the site for a start.
And I have tagged some of the pictures on our soul_girl accounts, then went onto our soul_boy account and viewed the pictures on soul_girl account and I could tag them again through soul_boy account.
I think our pictures will be staying in private for now.
I don't in any shape or form for my pictures to be tagged by anybody apart from myself. In the past I have had comments about me being a BBW, and although I am proud of being one, It's my choice to tag myself, and not for other people to do it.
The majority of people on here are very nice, but there are a few "twats" who ruin in for the rest.
So all my pics are now private, and will stay like it until the "tagging" is taken off, or until my sub runs out, which ever first.
Not happy with this at all. evil
Thanks Foxy xx will see what I can find out... I have had pets all my life, but I can see your point. I'm seeing my doc Friday and will see what he suggests. xx

This time of year grass is unlikely to be a problem - it has to be flowering for you to get the symptoms. There is very little flowering now, and I've not heard of people being allergic to cherry blossom.
It's more likely to be animal dander, dust or mould. Even someone who has had animals for years can suddenly become allergic to their pets.
If it is worse at a particular time of day or after a particular activity that would give a clue as to the cause.
Even all year rhinitis is caused by one or more triggers. It can be a challenge to identify them, and may be impossible to eradicate them but it's worth a go.
Playaway, good lord, that brings back some frightening memories.... as for twee, bagpuss... what more can I say? cool

Sportacus? have you been watching too much Lazy Town.... 8-)

It ranks up there alongside Playaway (with the almost perfectly named Brian Cant. Oh for the application of an errant 'u') as being the wonkiest kids programme ever. "Run around like feck to save the inhabitants of lazy town!" NO ! Feck em! If they can't be arsed to save themselves, let them eat Pizza and move on...
I don't do twee. Even supposedly educational twee. The merest mention of the Wiggles makes me foam at the mouth and start to chew furniture.
The eyes... and if that person has what I call a buddha belly like mine... yum~! Curves and confidence...
I haven't had it all year round... yet.. hopefully! but will bear it in mind xx

Any idea what triggered it? Maybe some fresh cut flowers in the house? Or a neighbour's new pet?
Years ago my summer hayfever was still annoying me in October - very unusual. I heard that mattresses hold a lot of dust so I hoovered the mattress both sides as well as the base. I fetched out about 3 inches deep of the finest dust you can imagine into the Dyson. And the symptoms had gone by the next day.

This happened to me about 10 years ago and I was diagnosed with 'all year round rhinitus', it's a form of hayfever but sufferers get it every day more or less with no relief sad
I am so jealous!!!!

Try two of these:

Guaranteed to work a treat! smile
To be honest I'm not sure, I vac the bed every time I change it as my cats sleep on it, (must admit I don't vac the base.. will try it) but I live near fields, and the rapeseed tends to start me off, but seems to be particularly bad this year!
I have been taking certirazine, but its not working at all... made an appointment for the doc on Friday... hope he can help!!!!

Thanks Mrs B! used chamomile teabags last night, and really helped xxx going to buy a cucumber later (stop giggling!)

cucumber slices or used cooled chamomile teabags on your eyes
I am on a few other sites, and have found recently that some of them are suddenly starting to charge... mad most people I know on this particular site have left it now...
I can understand munches where a hall is being used, that is fair enough.. but house parties? Not good.
Got a meet coming up soon, and at the moment I can't breath properly  and my eyes look like the red balls on a snooker table.
I have a feeling that this won't bother them, but I would like to look half decent! :P
Any ideas on how to get rid of it? it really is driving me bananas! And i don't want to spend the meet sneezing and rubbing my eyes!
Any ideas welcome xx
Meters are definately better. I have a three bed house and live on my own, if I paid a set amount, I would be paying at least three times more money for the amount of water I use on my meter.
I would recommend it, but look into in carefully for the are you're in.
Well said, bbw_lover.

you say shame on the magazine but what about her, i was reading a magazine the other day and as i was going thro it there was a picture of her looking very ill in bed at home with her kids sat at the side of her looking very sad......sorry but shame on her for allowing that pic to be taken and published, theres a fine line and allowing pics of your children crying at your dieing bedside is not only crossing that line its wiping your feet on it on your way over

couldn't agree more ok she wants to make money for thier future her choice yes but some dignity is called for i feel
What's worse is that while we sit here exchanging our various views on Miss Goody we forget that most magazines, despite their reputations and how we feel about them, do not normally publish without the express wish of the person involved.
So it turns out that Jade has given permission for all of these photos AND articles that have been published so far. And while the punters continue to lap it all up, she continues to have even more photos taken, and articles written, for the following day's issue.
Yes I sympathize for the situation she finds herself in, and I appreciate she's concerned about the future of her kids, but I can't help feeling that she's doing this because she can't stop herself. And I'm sorry to say I find that rather ugly.
I can agree with bbw_lover on the Burt Weedon book, I am slowly learning to play - when I have the time and energy!
There's nothing like strumming along and totally losing yourself in the music.... I have added a pic to my profile of me playing guitar (or trying to after a little bit of vino...)
Blow up the paddling pool??? looking forward to seeing you kiss

Hey Varca what lovely pictures! will get my other half to post some of mine later x Well done you for doing what you're doing xx
Purry hugs to the little mite you're waiting for xx
I can understand the addiction part! When I first came on the site on the weekends I used to be on it for hours! Too busy to spend as much time now...
Don't agree with him changing your password though... thats not fair!
I posted in the steam room a while back about someone kicking my cat - I take in rescue cats, and abhor any form of animal cruelty.
Well done to you for taking in a new pet - I hope the vet says yes to you...
Ps one of my neighbours cats stays at my house at night as she kicks it out with no food and drink! If you can't treat an animal with respect you shouldn't have one... at least it knows I care for it! Makes me soooo mad....
And just a quick thought... what about that poor baby that died yesterday?? they are blaming the animals... its not the animals its the people who own them that should be blamed.
I am with both of you on this one.... my better half is black, but I was married to a white man for 20 years... I don't see men for their colour, I see them for who they are.
My partner connects with me on many levels, and I have told him countless times that I see him for "him" not for what colour he is. I actually told him yesterday that he doesn't realise how attractive he is!
It doesn't matter to me if you're sky blue pink with yellow dots on... if you can connect with me on a cerebral level... you have a chance of connecting with me on a physical level too.
We are all different.... each person has their own personal tastes.
Viva la differance!!!!!

What about just simply "hot guys"?
I'd much rather have a hot guy who made me laugh than have him because of the colour of his skin.

it's always the bloody hot guys!!!! rolleyes  bolt
what about us ugly guys who make people laugh.......
you know what.... those uglies with no sense of humour must really stuggle.....
no wonder nerds get a bad rap!!!!!
I'd rather have a guy who was funny and charming than hot and handsome. Especially when they know it. Guys who don't know how lovely they are often make more of an effort. kiss
