Don't be put off by the negative vibes that some people put about this place.
The good points are that two ladies will be allowed in, and the facilities are top class. As people have mentioned, there is a preponderance of single males, of which the majority are very well behaved. However, although they are still the majority, this is not always as bad during the daytime if you can visit then.
However, if you do get given grief, don't put up with it, but talk to the assistants and mangement, who are always around. I have only seen one really bad display of behaviour there, and the regulars pounced on the guy immediately and he was thrown out as soon as he had dressed.
So don't be put off - go and enjoy yourself.

The last two times that I have been to Rios, I have been very dissapointed with the mix of people there. Recent Wednesday and Friday evenings have seen some 25 or 30 single guys there with maybe
one or two couples and no single ladies.
I have been attending the club for 10+ years now, and while men have always been in the majority, I have never known it to be like this before. There have been plenty of posts on this forum, and also in the clubs and parties section, about the problem of single males, and particularly those who follow women visitors around. The balance of sexes on the two nights that I was there was such that it must have put off all but the most hardened female exhibitionist.
As I was pondering this, it struck me that there is one major difference now to what it was like in the past. Up until a few years ago, the girls who worked in the club had used to spend a lot of time in the `wet area' using the facilities and chatting with the customers, and they had often used to go nude. Nowadays, although they still remain friendly, they largely remain in the bar area, and almost always stay topless and never strip completely.
It struck me that if they started to use the wet area more, this would provide plenty of eye candy for the `followers', and that hopefully, with the area becoming more mixed again, it would encourage more women to start visiting the club.
This is just an idea, and when I next visit the club I will raise it with `the management' but in the meantime, I would welcome other people's thoughts. Rios is an excellent facility, and it would be a tragedy if women felt scared off and it became a male only venue.

Recognising that women attending such venues usually have the choice of the men who are there, I'm keen to stand out from the crowd for all the right reasons. So what makes a man look the best - nude, swimming trunks or a thong?

This is a very apt thread. I have been going to Rios for the last ten years or so, and over that time the numbers of women attending has gradually been decreasing.
I hope that when I go - I'm planning a visit tonight - I treat everyone with appropriate respect and courtesy. However, as noted elsewhere in this site, any female or couple is likely to get followed around.
Please could we all try to behave with a little more respect and courtesy to everyone, or this wonderful facility will be lost to us.
