Has dogging disapeared in Surrey.
I havnt been out and about for quite long time but last night was in the area of somewhere I used to use a lot, those who dog in the area will know it, two car parks on one road in north west surrey village not far from a main road with a very well known Layby, I was in the bigger car park and apart from some kids in their cars there was no activity whatsoever. In the days that I was a regular dogger this car park would have had loads of activity especialy on a saturday night.
Has it died in the area or was this just a one off bit of bad luck

I stopped altogether nearly 2 years ago because it became so popular in Surrey that so called secluded car parks became so busy it was hard to find somewhere to park. The idiots were out in force as the earlier poster said headlights on and straight over, very offputting for the couples.
However I must say the problem was aded to by couples advertising on sites like here with to much detail about where they were going, this brought the internet trawlers and the poloice out in force (they read these sites too you know). The best way of advertising is refer to "the usual place" or "where we were last week" etc.... this way only people who know who you are will know where you are referring to.
I did venture out again a couple of weeks back and was blessed with some good luck on the night, but usualy a lot of patience is required. But you know the waiting isnt always that bad, try socialising with some of the others waiting, you can actualy make some very good friends, I met someone the other week who still remembered me from nearly 2 years ago. I did hear from the guys there that night that things have got a bit quiter again so who knows maybe I might venture out again sometime soon.

I hate to admit it but Hammersmith Boys got a point. Dont get me wrong I dont think people should put locations in thier messages other than maybe a rough area so that people in the know will understand where they mean. However anyone coming on to the site can look at the locations list and see where to go. Perhaps the list should only be available to members this could help to keep the number of time wasters down a bit.
