iv used all the shareware software programmes and found imesh 4 was the best no viruses accurate file names and latest files. but then they went and updated it and now its just crap. limewire is ok but it slowly kills your p.c. dunno bout mac. doesnt matter what antivirus software you use 1 day something new pops up. im not sure but i heard on a forum somewhere music companies and movie studios purposely put bugs on files to prevent free downloading. as for checking your content download vlc media player it will play any media file even partially downloaded files therefor u can check to see what u are downloading is genuin or not. the best things out there at the mo are streaming sites their hard to find but when u do u can stream movies music etc etc without bugs or having to wait for dloads to complete. second option use u torrent.
Go to any store they have a huge range of camcorders. from mini dv(tape) to mini dvd to hard drive. the good thing is you can try before you buy and secondly if you are not happy they will happily refund it all because they have a 30 day no fuss policy.
things you should look out for.
the higher the ccd the better the camcorder.
optical zoom bigger the better
some dvd camcorderes are multi format (recommended.)
some camcorders can take stills too but quality is really bad.
also check whether camcorder has a light or a night mode feature on it.
stick with either a panasonic because the use leica lenses or a sony because they use carl zeiss lenses.
dvd camcorders are easy to use thats wat id go for. in particula the new sony dvd 106.
