I'm not the one complaining about not getting meets or contacts. The site works very well for me, thanks. If a single female had come into this forum, or a couple for that matter, the same comments would - and have been - levelled at them also. As Dambuster has said, I use the forum, not the ads. I haven't had contact from details in my profile (which is mine and hubby's) as we make contact with people who chat to us on here, and they also contact us from seeing posts I have made.
I'm glad the site is working for you. Allthough I have only recently started to post I have been reading these boards for a little while. I accept that the comments would have been levelled at any poster, however I still feel that when you have put time and effort into a reply, not just 2 or 3 lines, gone to the trouble of including pic's, it would be good manners for whoever placed the ad to send a polite "no thank you" rather than just ignoring the message.
My point was that it's not the level of success or failure I find frustrating but it's the lack of manners at times which I find annoying.

No I didn't miss that part of the post.
The point I was trying to make was that one of the most common criticisms about people is that they don't have an up to date or incomplete profile on here.

I've replied to countless ad's in the couples seeking men section. In turns I've tried being funny, thoughtfull, flippant, daft, respectfull, etc, etc. But still people don't have the courtesy to reply. I would also like to say tht in these responses I always include a facial pic
I've just checked my mailbox on here and of the messages I've sent in response to ad's. 1% are still unread, 7% are conversations that haven't worked out (I'll take the blame there) and 92% unanswered.
OK, you have to make your ad stand out but at least have the decency to say a polite no thank you.
